Because of the help of generous people like you, FTW was able to help fund several people through Kiva this month. We are happy to share their stories with you here.

Please watch this video to see why Fix the World gives to Kiva every month:

Haitali (above) is from A. Jomi region. He is 51 years old. He is a good-natured and hardworking person who runs his own business. Haitali’s wife works side by side with him on the farm. For 15 years they have been cultivating vegetables and other melons and gourds on their plot of land next to the farm.

As you can see in the photograph, Haitali has used part of the land plot, and the remaining part is not yet sown because of insufficient funds. Haitali is requesting a loan to buy seeds, mineral fertilisers, and fuel in order to carry out sowing on the available land. He is hoping for help, and thanks you in advance for your support and understanding.  View His fund here https://www.kiva.org/lend/1042381

They also earn $985 a year from selling two baby calves. In the land that his family owns, they plant for their family consumption and also feed the cow/baby calves, eight sheep, and chickens. Edilberto
Edilberto is enthusiastic to continue working with Kiva credits, since in this way his business has been able to continue functioning. At this time it would be useful for him to buy seeds and a backpack style fertilizer sprayer in order to complete his agricultural work. He tries to offer good service for his customers and also always have a source of income. With his previous loan he was able to stabilize his economic situation and provide a more dignified life for his family. His family situation remains the same as with his previous loan. He notes that for the time being he has not had any problems with work. View his fund here: https://www.kiva.org/lend/1045167
