Most orgonite products you find online are not orgone energy products. They are pretty statues.

That is the message that Hope and Tivon — American engineers running Fix the World Project out of Marrakesh, Morocco — have been delivering to their over 30,000 customers for more than eight years. And in their full presentation on real versus fake orgonite, they back that message up with science.

This blog post covers everything from that presentation: the science of orgone energy, the specific properties of each ingredient in a real orgone composite, why epoxy and metal powders matter more than gemstones and coils, and how to protect yourself from fake — and in some cases dangerous — products flooding the market.

How Orgone Energy Works: The Science of Dr. Wilhelm Reich

Orgone energy is not a belief system. It is a scientifically observed phenomenon, first documented in the 1930s by the late Dr. Wilhelm Reich.

During a series of experiments, Dr. Reich discovered that living samples placed within containers made from alternating layers of steel and non-conductive organic material were able to harness healthy cosmic energy from the environment. He called this energy orgone. These orgone accumulators had the ability to preserve blood samples for longer periods of time, sprout healthier plant seedlings, and provide pain relief for his patients who sat inside of them.

Fast forwarding to today, instead of using sheets of steel and plastic, a modern orgone composite uses a blend of iron oxide, steel, shungite, and crystal powders encased in an epoxy resin. The end result is a harmonizer that transforms harmful wireless fields from cell towers, smart meters, smartphones, internet routers, and televisions into a more beneficial energy for you, your plants, and pets.

The effects of this scientific phenomenon were replicated and well-documented in studies done by the University of Pennsylvania and the Heraclitus Microscopic Research Laboratory. In addition, there are fascinating studies done by Alexander Golod around pyramid shapes that show striking similarities to orgone energy — studies with military funding, conducted with sophisticated and expensive equipment.

The Ingredients: Why Every Material in a Real Orgone Composite Was Chosen for Science, Not Aesthetics

Fix the World Project does not keep their formula secret. They tell everybody exactly what they put in all of their products. Here is a breakdown of each ingredient and why it was chosen.

Quartz Crystal (Powder Form)

Quartz crystal is a key piezoelectric material known for its high stability, enabling it to convert mechanical strain and stress into electrical energy. This is what creates the orgone field in the products. When EMF in the environment hits the composite, the quartz crystals create a piezoelectric effect that passively pulses energy out from the composite — working in conjunction with the other ingredients to create a harmonizing effect.

Quartz is used in electronics frequency control — in devices like oscillators, filters, and resonators in watches, computers, and telecommunications. The application in orgone composites is to have a piezoelectric response in the matrix as it is being stimulated by EMF in the background.

Iron Oxide — Hematite and Magnetite

Iron oxides are effective absorbers of microwave energy, primarily due to dielectric loss in hematite (rust) and magnetic loss playing a dominant role in magnetite. Magnetite has an amazing ability to couple to electromagnetic fields and transduce that energy into acoustic waves. Certain types of iron oxides absorb frequencies within the 30 to 200 gigahertz range — the same range used in 6G communication, stealth technology, and radar sensors. Both the non-magnetic and magnetic iron oxide are used in Fix the World Project composites because both have been researched and shown to be effective.

Brass — A Copper Alloy

Brass is copper mixed with zinc to make it harder, stronger, and more resistant to corrosion. This is very important when mixing it in powder form into an epoxy resin that you want to last and be resilient. As a copper alloy, brass has the properties of copper — including EMI/RFI shielding. Due to its high electrical conductivity, copper acts as a Faraday cage to reflect or absorb electromagnetic waves.

Copper is also a powerful broad-spectrum antimicrobial material that kills 99.9% of bacteria, viruses, and fungi within two hours of contact — including antibiotic-resistant superbugs like MRSA. New research is finding that copper C10100 even destroys bacteria at a distance, without physically touching the bacterial cells. Energetically, it is a very active material.

Steel

Steel has a high relative permeability, making it effective for magnetic shielding and blocking low-frequency fields. When metal powders are used in composites, research shows that such composites actually draw in RF fields into the matrix and absorb that energy.

Shungite

Shungite is probably one of the most remarkable minerals in orgone composites. It is only found in one place in the world — Karelia, Russia. Its unique molecular structure consists of nested fullerenes: fullerene within fullerene within fullerene. When shungite comes in contact with a radioactive particle, that particle is drawn into the inner cage of the molecule and basically falls apart. Scientists do not yet fully understand how it is able to do that. This is why shungite is being used to help clean up nuclear waste in places like Fukushima.

Research from a scientific journal indicates that shungite can exhibit high dynamic conductivity and microwave absorption, especially in composite materials. A study on radar shielding and microwave absorbing properties of composite materials based on shungite confirms its use as radar shielding. A separate study, the shielding effect of mineral shungite during electromagnetic irradiation of rats, showed that shungite decreased the severity of damage produced by high-frequency electromagnetic radiation.

Shungite and the Bees

Derek Kondit, a beekeeper and co-founder of Cosmic Reality, initiated the Shungite Beehive Project in 2017 to explore shungite’s potential in protecting bees from environmental stressors, particularly electromagnetic frequencies. His early experiments involved painting hives with shungite-infused paint and placing shungite stones at the hive entrance. He observed a significant increase in hive health with no colony collapse disorder losses for over four years, improved honey production, and stronger bee populations.

A beekeeper known as the Shungite Lady of Mallorca expanded on this work in 2019, finding shungite colonies showed increased honey output, more queen bees, and larger, more vibrant bee communities. Laboratory studies confirmed that honey from shungite hives had exceptionally high frequencies indicating superior quality. Bees are very sensitive animals — they pick up on frequencies much better than humans — and shungite’s unique C60 fullerene molecules are believed to neutralize harmful frequencies, acting like a Faraday cage.

Why Metal Powders — Not Shavings, Pebbles, or Rocks — Are the Most Powerful Choice

This is one of the most important concepts in understanding the difference between real and fake orgonite.

When dealing with advanced technologies and nanotechnologies — whether it is 3G, 4G, 5G, 6G, or seven terahertz frequencies — you need to be able to fight, shield, and protect on the same level as that technology. If it is a nanotechnology, you need something in a nano form to protect against it. It is kind of like putting up a barbed wire fence as a mosquito net. You have to get something that is the same size — or smaller than the mosquito — in order to combat it.

Metal powders scatter microwave fields. Metal powders absorb microwave fields. The smaller the particle size in your composite, the more effective it will be in absorbing or scattering these signals. Powders are a lot more expensive to source and use, but the trade-off is you do not need a kilogram of metal shavings when you can do it in a teaspoon of powder because its surface area is much, much higher.

The surface area scale matters:

  • Big rocks and large crystals = least surface area = least effective
  • Pebbles = low surface area
  • Metal shavings = more surface area, more effective — you will get some results
  • Metal powders = highest surface area = most effective and most powerful orgone field

When you see products online that are mostly clear epoxy with a few gemstones inside, that product is mostly empty space. You want to occupy the entire volume of space with active material, not just clear epoxy.

Why Epoxy Resin — Not Beeswax, Concrete, or Gel — Is the Right Curing Material

The curing material in an orgone composite needs to do two things: put high pressure on the ingredients to create the piezoelectric effect, and be transparent to microwaves so the waves interact with the ingredients inside the matrix rather than with the matrix itself.

Epoxy resin does both. It is airtight — when you encase something in epoxy resin, it is virtually vacuum sealed. It is durable and rugged for indoor and outdoor use. And studies confirm that standard cured epoxy resins do not heat up in microwave environments, meaning the microwaves go through the epoxy and interact with what is inside the matrix. That is exactly what you want.

Beeswax, concrete, and gels all have lower surface pressure on the ingredients, meaning a weaker piezoelectric effect and therefore a weaker orgone field. Beeswax would not hold up in extreme heat or monsoon weather. Concrete is water permeable. Gels and liquids have the lowest surface pressure of all. Epoxy is the only material that meets all the requirements.

Is cured epoxy toxic?

No. Once the epoxy is cured, the toxicity levels basically go away. The hardened piece is inert — it will not leach anything onto you. It is no more dangerous than the cured plastic from the devices around you. Raw epoxy requires gloves and ventilation during the mixing and pouring process, but the final product is a safe, inanimate object.

Why Copper Coils and Talismans Do Not Belong in Orgone Products

Coils are antennas. That is the simple explanation.

By default, coils are designed to receive and pick up signals. A product designed to create a harmonized, scattered orgone energy field should not contain antennas that attract signals toward the person wearing or using it. Fractal antennas — the spiral snowflake patterns you see in many orgone products — pick up an especially broad range of signals because every angle and every bend is a different frequency that it can receive.

There is also no need for copper coils because the orgone composite already contains copper throughout — in the form of brass, which is copper and zinc combined. The copper is already there, in powder form, distributed throughout the entire volume of the product. Additional coils or talismans do not make it more powerful and do not make it work better.

The same logic applies to coil spring mattresses. Back in the 1930s, a radio station broadcasting with a massive 500 kilowatt signal caused residents living near its transmitter in Mason, Ohio to hear the radio station coming through their mattress springs. More recent experiments show how mattress coils pick up RF and EMF frequencies. When you are sleeping on a bed filled with antennas in a highly populated environment surrounded by cell towers, those coils could be drawing EMF through your body all night — and that may be one of the main reasons you are having sleeping trouble.

The Truth About Gemstones in Orgonite Products

Gemstones do have scientific and technical properties. The color in gemstones is primarily due to trace impurities or crystal lattice defects — trace elements that are metals inside the stones. For example: chromium gives ruby its red color and emerald its green; iron gives sapphire its blue and citrine its yellow; copper gives turquoise its blue-green. These trace metal impurities do have properties.

However, when you see products online that are mostly large gemstones in clear resin, you are looking at a product with very low surface area and very little active material in the volume of that composite. Most of those gemstones are just versions of quartz crystal. They are artistic statues and they are beautiful. But they are not orgone energy composites.

The question to ask is: why does your orgone energy piece need a ruby in it? What is the scientific explanation for including it? If there is no answer to that question, you are looking at artistic license, not an EMF abatement ingredient.

How to Spot Fake Orgonite — Including Products That Are Dangerous

There are three categories of fake orgonite to be aware of.

1. Cheap Gemstone Statues Rebranded as Orgonite

These products are artistic statues that are usually made of gemstones with little or no scientific properties or ingredients. They are mostly gemstones being rebranded using the word orgonite or orgone energy when they do not in fact have any orgone energy properties. It is a selling tactic.

These products are mass-produced and sold wholesale to sites like Amazon by manufacturers in gemstone-rich regions in India and China for very low wages — probably cost a few cents to make. Manufacturers include Orgone Agate, Orgone India, Ahmed Agate, and Jet International. These are not real orgone energy products. These are statues with gemstones.

2. Orgonite Made Without High-Pressure Epoxy

Products made with beeswax, concrete, or gel will not generate a strong orgone field because they do not put sufficient surface pressure on the ingredients to create a powerful piezoelectric effect. They may look creative and handmade but they will not deliver the results you are looking for.

3. Radioactive Thorium Pendants Sold as Health and Wellness Products

This is the most dangerous category. For more than a decade, online sellers have sold necklaces under the guise of health and wellness — now calling them quantum scalar energy pendants. These pendants, which are meant to be worn around your neck for long periods of time, are actually radioactive. These manufacturers have been using waste products to create cheap pendants that harm human health. After getting in trouble, they simply rebranded. They are still available on Amazon.

What to Look For When Buying Real Orgone Energy Products

Now that you understand the science, here is a practical checklist:

  • The seller lists all ingredients. If the seller does not mention what the ingredients are, that is probably not a good sign.
  • The ingredients have known scientific electrical properties or use in EMF abatement: quartz, iron oxide, shungite, brass, steel.
  • The ingredients are in powder form. Powders have the highest surface area and are the most powerful. Shavings are better than stones, but powders are best.
  • The curing material is epoxy resin, not beeswax, concrete, or gel. Epoxy provides the high surface pressure needed for a strong piezoelectric effect.
  • The product does not contain copper coils or fractal talisman antennas.
  • The interior of the product is dark — not clear. A clear interior means most of the volume is empty epoxy with little active material. Dark interior means shungite and iron oxide powders are present throughout.
  • The seller is transparent about their process. You can see who makes the products, where they are made, and what goes into them.

You can also test products yourself. The ice test involves observing whether the structure of water changes under the influence of an orgone field. Seed growth tests involve placing seedlings around your orgone piece to observe growth results. If you have a beehive, colony collapse reversal is another real-world test. These are scientific tests that anyone can apply — independent of any belief system.
