Everywhere I look journalists and doctors are queuing up and falling over each other in order to praise the latest wonder drug semaglutide (known to most people by the brand names Ozempic and Wegovy.

And there’s another drug called Mounjaro aka tirzepatide.

That’s supposed to be a wonder drug too.

These are, so they insist, the best, easiest and classiest way to lose weight.

The Daily Telegraph ran a headline which read ‘My miracle weight loss jab has changed my life and will change the world.’ The journalist who wrote the article says that these drugs ‘may well change the world – for good’.

And doctors apparently claim that semaglutide and tirzepatide will do all sorts of other wonderful things.

There’s been talk of one or the other of them slowing down the aging process, preventing cancer, arthritis, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s.

And helping people give up smoking.

Doctors apparently also say that semaglutide will reverse kidney disease, prevent heart failure and reduce previously untreatable high blood pressure.

And cut heart attacks and strokes.

It’ll probably solve baldness, spots and dandruff, reduce your heating bills, cut your lawn and protect your car bodywork from seagull droppings.

This stuff sounds nearly as good as the much loved covid-19 vaccine – and what an embarrassment it was for the medical establishment and the world’s journalists when the vaccines turned out to be just as useless and as toxic as I predicted they would be.

But pause a moment.

Do you know of a drug anywhere in the world that doesn’t have dangerous side effects? Have you ever come across a product that cannot kill people?

No, nor me. And I’ve been writing about drugs and drug side effects for over fifty years.

So what can these ‘change the world’ wonder drugs do that the enthusiastic doctors and journalists don’t seem to have mentioned?

Well, let’s start with tirzepatide (aka Mounjaro).

This one can:

Cause allergy reactions
Shouldn’t be used if you’re pregnant
May damage your liver
May damage your kidneys
May cause acute pancreatitis
May cause dehydration

One major source of information about drugs tells me that mounjaro ‘can cause some serious health issues’.

No kidding. In addition to the other problems I’ve listed, it can cause fever, stomach pain, difficulty in breathing or swallowing, gall bladder disease, vomiting, jaundice and some other stuff including a fast heart rate.

And what about the other stuff – semaglutide (aka Ozempic and Wegovy)?

I hate to tell you this but semaglutide can also cause some serious health issues.

Here’s a list of a few of the possible problems:

Thyroid C cell tumours
Anxiety
Bloating
Blurred vision
Cold sweats
Confusion
Constipation
Dark urine (that’s probably because your liver is buggered)
Depression
Diarrhoea (though possibly not at the same time as the constipation)
Difficulty in swallowing
Dizziness
Fast heart beat
Fever
Headache
Increased hunger
Indigestion
Nervousness and nightmares
Pains in the stomach
Seizures
Skin rash
Slurred speech
Trouble breathing
Tiredness
Vomiting
Yellow eyes or skin (the liver thing again)

That’s not all. But it’s enough to be going on with.

None of the doctors and journalists whom I have seen extolling the virtues of these new wonder drugs seems to have mentioned these risks.

So I’m sorry if I am a bit of a party pooper.

But there really aren’t any magic pills.

Just try to remember ‘Coleman’s First Law of Medicine’ which is: ‘If you are receiving treatment for an existing disease and you develop new symptoms then, until proved otherwise, you should assume that the new symptoms are caused by the treatment you are receiving.’

Reports of deaths which are linked to these new weight loss drugs are already appearing. For example, a healthy nurse took two low dose injections of tirzepatide and two weeks later she was dead. She died from multiple organ failure, septic shock and pancreatitis.

Between January and May 2024 there were 208 warnings about this drug – including 31 serious reactions and one suspected death of a man in his sixties. There are reported to have been 23 suspected deaths linked to semaglutide in the UK since 2019. And today hundreds of thousands of people are taking the stuff – believing it is safe.

Dr Alison Cave, the chief safety officer of the MRHA (about which I have written much before) is reported to have said that ‘new medicines, such as tirzepatide are more intensively monitored to ensure any new safety issues are identified promptly’. And Dr Naveed Sattar, who is chairman of the UK Government’s obesity mission (I didn’t know we had one) is reported to have said: ‘Trials are very robust in trying to establish safety.’

It’s always nice to come across doctors with a sense of humour.

These drugs, don’t help eradicate bad eating habits. Instead, I believe, they work on the brain to make you feel full. But I believe the drug may also affect other parts of the brain – effectively turning it into a mind control substance. I believe the drug decreases the amount of dopamine your brain releases after you do something enjoyable – drinking, smoking, eating food you particularly like or having sex – and therefore eliminates the motivation to do those things. The drug will, therefore, remove the sense of pleasure that is experienced when you do something you enjoy.

So, surely, the drug may therefore change the personality of the person taking it and it may reduce the individual’s libido. This effect will ensure that the drug fits nicely into the depopulation programme which is so loved by the conspirators.

And all this perhaps explains why journalists have been encouraged to promote the drug with such exaggerated and unbridled enthusiasm. I nevertheless find it astonishing that mainstream media journalists have promoted these drugs with little or no assessment of the side effects or their possible propensity to turn those who use them into zombies.

WHO Pushes for Expanded Production of Weight Loss Injections

The World Health Organization has called for a rapid expansion in the production of weight loss injections, urging manufacturers to scale up supply and lower prices to address the global obesity crisis.

In new guidance, the agency recommended the use of GLP-1 receptor agonists such as semaglutide and tirzepatide as treatments for obesity, describing them as a “new chapter” in obesity care. The WHO emphasized that these medications are the first to show clear evidence of effectiveness in reducing obesity and may also lower the risk of related conditions, including diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and sleep apnoea. WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus stated that while medication alone will not solve the crisis, GLP-1 therapies could help millions reduce obesity and its associated health risks.

White House Pushes to Expand Access to Weight Loss Injections

In late 2025, the White House announced new agreements with pharmaceutical companies Eli Lilly and Novo Nordisk to make weight loss injections more affordable for people paying out of pocket. Under these deals, the starting cost of popular GLP-1 medications like Zepbound and Wegovy dropped to about $350 per month, with expectations that prices could fall to around $250 within the next two years. The medications are being offered through the government’s TrumpRx website, which connects patients directly with manufacturers providing discounted rates.

Before slumping down in front of the TV, Dr. Vernon Coleman has a message for you.

Don’t slump down in front of the television set just yet because I have a present for you. It’s a present that will not wear out or go out of fashion. It doesn’t need batteries and you don’t have to queue up to exchange it. It is a present that may make you feel uncomfortable for a few minutes but will, if you accept it, last forever and change your life.

All I ask from you, in return for the gift I want to give you, is a little indulgence and a few moments of your time.

Of course, there is a chance you may not need my present. So, before we go any further let me ask you whether you think you have done as much as you can with your life. If you knew that you had just five minutes to live, would you be satisfied that you had done as much as you could with your allotted lifespan?

If you are satisfied then please accept my congratulations and feel free to slump down in front of the TV set.

If you aren’t quite sure then read on.  Because I’m going to give you a philosophy for life.

Most people are dead at twenty five: their ambitions, hopes and aspirations confined to acquiring a car with “genuine” vinyl seats and a fully paid-up pension plan. They won’t be buried for another half a century but they are doing little more than killing time until life runs out. They watch life drift by; never grasping their destiny or taking control. Thoreau was right when he wrote that “the mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation.”

How many of your friends do jobs that they hate – and then excuse themselves by arguing that they need the money to pay for the stuff with which they have littered their lives? (And how much of that stuff – paid for with blood, sweat and tears – is worth the price that has been paid?)

How many people do you know who have sold their souls so that they can receive a pension in their old age? (And when you’ve suggested that they ought to have more fun, how many times have you heard them say: “I’ll have plenty of time and money to enjoy myself when I retire.”)

Don’t let yourself be trapped in the same way.

And if you ARE trapped, don’t be afraid to break free.

You only get one chance at living. Don’t sell your body, soul and mind so that you can buy an ice cream maker, a time-share apartment in Marbella and a three-piece suite in mushroom velour. Don’t make the mistake of wasting your life on low expectations. Don’t let your possessions own you and direct your life.

You may feel that you would like to do something with your life. But you may feel afraid. Dig down into your spirit and you will find dreams that just need dusting off.

Let your dreams out.

Why be afraid? What have you got to lose?

Take life by the scruff of the neck and shake it.

Whatever happens, you will not regret the things which go wrong as much as you will regret the things you never do. Failing is no worse than not trying.

The saddest phrase in the English language is “might have been.” When the game is over your regrets will tell you more about yourself than your accomplishments. Don’t make the mistake most people make – of worrying too much and thinking too little.

The secret of life is to be passionate.

If you do not dedicate your life to a cause about which you feel passionate you will eventually ask yourself whether life is worthwhile. And you will not know the answer.

Spend some time deciding what you want to DO with the rest of your life.

And remember that the greatest irony of all is that you need something you are prepared to die for before you can get the most out of life.

What’s happening to your money?

1. Central banks (including the Bank of England, the European Central Bank, the Federal Reserve) all failed to spot that inflation was coming. Why in the name of everything fiscal do we give money to these incompetent, overpaid buffoons? And why does anyone take any notice of what they say? It wasn’t difficult to see that inflation was coming. (I warned that inflation was coming fast and hard two years ago. I told you it was going into double figures.) Similarly, it was easy to see (and again you could have read it on this website) that interest rates were going up. The days of absurdly low, artificial interest rates are over. They’ve served their purpose – and lined up millions of people for penury, bankruptcy and homelessness. (You’ll find more about inflation in my book Moneypower.)
2. The idiots in governments keep saying that energy prices will fall next year. But they’re either being very, very stupid or they are lying. There is no way that energy prices are going to fall. They may go up and down a bit but the trend will be upwards. The officially supported and protected global warming cultists will ensure that energy prices go higher by helping to prevent oil companies finding new supplies. This winter is going to be a doddle compared to next winter. If you agree with me it might be a good idea to make appropriate plans. Congratulate yourself if you have a working chimney.
3. In the UK, the crypto-fascist-communist Government is now telling us how to heat our homes. They’re banning gas boilers and log burners and they want us all to install heat pumps and cavity wall insulation. They can sod off. When they pay my heating bills they can decide how it’s heated.
4. The rise in energy prices is buggering up all industry – including service industries and manufacturing industries. Unemployment is bound to rise.
5. This isn’t directly to do with your money but it’s good for a laugh. Truss’s special advisor is called Jason Stein. I’m told he used to work as a communications adviser to Prince Andrew. That went well, didn’t it?
6. The NHS budget is around £130 billion a year. When I last looked the outstanding compensation claims came to £83 billion. That doesn’t leave a lot left for treating patients. And remember, patients usually only win compensation when medical staff have made mistakes. Remind me again why people were told to clap NHS staff. And why the NHS was given the George Medal.
7. In her 20 minutes as Prime Minister, the appalling Truss was keen to boost immigration. I believe that the hope was that if more people come into Britain then the country will look busier and more productive. It’s yet more bollocks, of course. Immigration will only add to Britain’s wealth if the newcomers add more than around £34,000 a year to the Gross Domestic Product. Truss may have believed that all those immigrants crossing the Channel in rubber boats would each earn more than £34,000 as high flying IT specialists and investment bankers but I have my doubts. My guess is that Britain’s new Prime Minister will be Sir Klaus Schwab, the famous conspirator. He will take office using the name ‘Sunak’.

9. Let us spare a moment for Gordon the Moron (which just happened to be the title of my book about Gordon Brown). Gordon didn’t just sell our gold at the bottom of the market (and tell everyone what he was going to do before he did it) but he also gave the Bank of England independence. That was a brilliant move, too, wasn’t it?
10. Food prices are going to continue to soar. New laws brought in by the Government in the UK mean that nearly half of all arable land in huge areas of Britain will have to be left to go wild. The mad re-wilding scheme will result in an abundance of nettles, docks, giant hogweed, Japanese knotweed and brambles. But a shortage of food. Brilliant.
11. The International Monetary Fund wants Central Bank digital currencies to be programmed and used alongside a social credit system. You’ll only be able to spend `your’ money on goods and services which are approved. You’ll be able to buy a pound of roast grasshoppers. But no sweets, no cakes and no booze. 12. Shops, hairdressers and so on will face a rise in business rates of over 10% next year. This will add a collective £3 billion to their business rates bill. ‘This massive rise should get rid of whatever shops and other businesses are left after the winter,’ said a proud Government spokesman. ‘Those who say we don’t know what we doing simply don’t know what they’re saying.’

NB 1. The BBC has been asked to apologise. The BBC reported that Liz Truss had resigned as Prime Minister and she had. This unprecedented break with tradition has appalled MPs who have demanded that the BBC broadcast an apology for publishing a fact.

NB 2. It has been decided that everyone in the country will now take their turn at being either Prime Minister or Chancellor of the Exchequer. The first `lucky’ winners will be selected via the National Lottery and will stay in office for one week each.
