Scientists Warn ‘Biblical Megaflood’ Risk Threatens Millions in California

Scientists are warning that California is overdue for a catastrophic “biblical megaflood” capable of transforming vast areas of the state into a massive inland sea and forcing millions of Americans to flee their homes.

The nightmare scenario, known as ARkStorm 2.0, envisions a relentless barrage of powerful storms striking California for roughly a month, unleashing flooding on a scale not seen since the Great Flood of 1861-62.

Researchers say the event could strike during any winter.

If it does, the devastation could exceed $1 trillion, making it one of the most expensive natural disasters in history.

Some communities could disappear beneath 20 feet of floodwater, while heavily populated regions stretching from San Francisco to Los Angeles would face widespread destruction.

Scientists Say State Is Overdue for Historic Megaflood

The warning centers on an event scientists call an Atmospheric River 1,000-year Storm, or ARkStorm.

The scenario was developed by the U.S. Geological Survey alongside federal, state, and academic researchers to model a realistic worst-case flood event.

Unlike a single storm, ARkStorm envisions a continuous chain of atmospheric rivers slamming into California over approximately 30 days.

Atmospheric rivers are narrow corridors of tropical moisture capable of transporting astonishing amounts of water across the Pacific.

When they collide with California’s coastal mountains and the Sierra Nevada, they release torrential rain and heavy snowfall.

Under the ARkStorm scenario, those systems would repeatedly hammer the state until rivers overflow, levees fail, and entire communities are submerged.

Floodwaters Could Swallow Vast Areas of California

Researchers warn that California’s Central Valley would bear the brunt of the catastrophe.

Floodwaters would surge through the Sacramento and San Joaquin river systems before spreading across one of America’s most productive agricultural regions.

Entire towns could disappear beneath the water.

The scenario projects flooding of up to 20 feet in some communities.

More than 1.5 million people could be forced to evacuate.

Nearly one-quarter of all buildings in California could sustain flood damage.

Power failures, transportation shutdowns, landslides, and infrastructure failures would ripple across every county in the state.

Scientists: ‘It Was Always a When, Not If’

Dr. Daniel Swain, a UCLA scientist who co-authored the ARkStorm 2.0 study, says the threat has become increasingly difficult to ignore.

“It was always a when, not if,” Swain told BBC Science Focus.

Swain said he once believed such a disaster might be centuries away.

“Now, it’s quite likely to be within my own lifetime,” he warned.

Researchers cannot predict exactly when the megaflood will occur.

Statistically, they say, it could happen this winter—or decades from now.

California Has Already Experienced One Before

The scenario is modeled in part on California’s Great Flood of 1861-62.

During that disaster, storms battered the state for approximately 45 days.

The Central Valley became an inland lake stretching nearly 300 miles.

Entire towns, farms, and transportation routes vanished beneath the floodwaters.

Sacramento was so badly affected that California temporarily moved its state capital to San Francisco.

Researchers say geological evidence shows that at least six even larger megafloods have struck California during the past 1,800 years.

Warmer Atmosphere Could Supercharge Future Storms

Scientists say today’s climate would likely make a future ARkStorm even more destructive.

Swain describes the atmosphere as functioning like an expanding sponge.

“You can essentially just imagine an ordinary kitchen sponge that grows progressively larger,” he said.

“It has the capacity to absorb much more water.”

When that moisture is released over California, rainfall becomes dramatically more intense.

At the same time, warming temperatures cause more winter precipitation to fall as rain instead of snow.

Rain falling onto existing mountain snowpack can rapidly melt it, sending enormous volumes of additional water rushing downstream.

Swain described the combination as a “double whammy.”

Researchers estimate runoff in parts of the southern Sierra Nevada could increase by 200% to 400% compared to historical megastorms.

Flood Defenses May Not Be Enough

California has spent decades constructing levees, canals, reservoirs, and pumping systems designed to protect the Central Valley.

But many of those defenses were not designed for biblical flooding.

The U.S. Geological Survey warns they were never designed to withstand the volume of water projected under an ARkStorm.

Millions of homeowners could also discover they lack sufficient flood insurance to rebuild.

Officials are investing up to $30 billion over 30 years through California’s Central Valley Flood Protection Plan to strengthen levees, restore floodplains, and improve emergency planning.

They are also developing high-resolution flood maps to better predict how water would move through communities.

Experts Warn California Still Isn’t Ready

Despite those efforts, scientists say preparations remain dangerously inadequate.

“There’s a lot more that needs to be done. We are not prepared,” said Dr. Christine Albano of the Desert Research Institute.

Unlike earthquakes, megastorms provide some warning.

Meteorologists could detect the developing storm sequence days, or even weeks, before the worst flooding begins.

That advance notice could provide critical time for evacuations and emergency preparations.

But experts warn that preparation today will determine whether a future ARkStorm becomes a natural disaster, or one of the worst humanitarian catastrophes in American history.

“Statistically, it could happen this year, or it might not happen for 70 years, if we get lucky,” Swain said.

The Dead Sea, a landlocked saltwater body flanked by Jordan to the east, the West Bank to the west and Israel to the southwest, is located within the Jordan Rift Valley and represents the lowest exposed terrestrial point on Earth.

While the area has historically been characterized by salt, stillness and an absence of apparent life, emerging freshwater springs have generated small zones where vegetation, insects and aquatic creatures can thrive, reports Daily Express UK.

The findings are especially notable given that the Dead Sea sits approximately 1,400 feet below sea level and maintains a salinity of around 34 per cent, rendering it nearly 10 times saltier than ocean water.

Its concentrated waters hold elevated levels of minerals including magnesium chloride, potassium and calcium, establishing environments that are inhospitable to most aquatic species.

Certain religious communities have drawn parallels between the emergence of freshwater, plant life, and small ecosystems along the coastline with prophecies outlined by the biblical prophets Ezekiel and Zechariah over 2,500 years ago.

Scientists, meanwhile, attribute the transformations to natural phenomena connected to the declining water levels of the Dead Sea.

The newly formed pools have emerged as the Dead Sea continues to recede, revealing underground water sources that were formerly concealed.

Rainfall on elevated terrain surrounding Jerusalem can filter through porous limestone before entering subterranean aquifers. Gradually, these freshwater systems migrate toward lower elevations, ultimately reaching zones near the Dead Sea.

As the waterline withdraws, springs that were once submerged beneath the saline waters are being exposed.

The revealed freshwater has enabled patches of vegetation to flourish, with certain pools encircled by reeds, tamarisks, and other flora.

Algae, insects, birds, and small aquatic creatures have also emerged in these isolated habitats, generating surprising pockets of biodiversity alongside one of Earth’s saltiest bodies of water.

These transformations are occurring amid a significant environmental crisis. As water levels decline, subterranean salt deposits destabilize, contributing to sinkhole formation that has damaged infrastructure, impacted tourist destinations, and reshaped portions of the shoreline.

Over 9,000 sinkholes have reportedly been documented on the Israeli side of the Dead Sea.

The association stems from biblical passages depicting a future transformation of the Dead Sea, reports the Daily Mail.

In the Book of Ezekiel, the prophet describes water flowing eastwards from the temple in Jerusalem before reaching the sea. The passage states: “When these waters enter the sea, the waters will be healed, and everything that enters this river will live.”

The vision portrays the restoration of life to the waters, featuring fishing along the coastline and fruit-bearing trees beside the sea, yielding food and leaves with medicinal qualities.

It additionally mentions specific sites, including En Gedi and En Eglaim, regions historically linked to the western coastline of the Dead Sea.

As pure water evaporates, the mountain minerals concentrate into heavy salt

Zechariah subsequently depicts “living waters” flowing from Jerusalem, with one current moving toward the eastern sea, which numerous scholars interpret as the Dead Sea, and another flowing toward the Mediterranean.

For certain believers, the presence of freshwater, vegetation, and marine life around the Dead Sea mirrors components outlined in these ancient texts.

Photographs of fish near the Dead Sea have generated considerable interest, especially after Israeli photographer Noam Bedein captured footage of fish swimming through a freshwater pool in 2016. Nevertheless, the fish were not inhabiting the Dead Sea.

The creatures were discovered in a distinct freshwater habitat formed by subterranean springs. They were shielded from the adjacent hypersaline waters, which could not sustain their existence.

This distinction matters because the main Dead Sea remains excessively saline for fish and most other observable aquatic organisms.

Scientists Close In on ‘Lab-Grown Sperm’ as Male Fertility Crisis Deepens

Scientists have taken a major step toward producing artificial human sperm in a laboratory as collapsing male fertility rates fuel fears that natural reproduction could eventually become impossible.

The breakthrough involved creating early-stage reproductive cells from human and monkey stem cells before growing them inside laboratory-made structures designed to imitate natural testes.

The study, published in the journal Cell Stem Cell, marks an early but significant advance toward the creation of fully developed lab-grown sperm.

Researchers Build Artificial ‘Mini-Testis’

Scientists began with induced pluripotent stem cells, known as iPSCs, taken from humans and rhesus macaques.

These blank-slate cells can be programmed to develop into almost any type of cell in the body.

Researchers exposed the cells to chemical signals that transformed them into primordial germ cell-like cells, which resemble the earliest embryonic cells that eventually develop into sperm.

Science website MedicalXpress explained how researchers then attempted to recreate the biological environment needed for those cells to mature.

“The researchers started with induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) from humans and rhesus macaques, which are blank-slate cells that can be programmed to become almost any cell type,” the report notes.

“By exposing them to specific chemical signals, the researchers transformed them into primordial germ cell-like cells (PGCLCs), which are lab-grown versions of the earliest embryonic cells that eventually develop into germline cells, in this case sperm cells.

“Germ cells cannot mature on their own and require a supportive environment, or niche.

“To provide this, the researchers combined the human or monkey germ cells with supportive cells from mouse fetuses.

“Together, these cells self-organized into a three-dimensional structure called a xenogeneic reconstituted testis (xrTestis), which mimics the basic structure of a natural testis.

“Inside the mini-testis, seminiferous tubules began to form,” the report explains.

“These are coiled structures within the testes where sperm are made.

“What grew in this setup closely resembled both the appearance and gene activity patterns of real human germ cells during the early stages of sperm development.”

The cells did not become fully mature sperm, but the experiment demonstrated that scientists could reproduce crucial early stages of sperm development outside the human body.

Male Fertility Rates Continue to Collapse

The announcement comes amid growing alarm over declining sperm counts and other measures of male fertility around the world.

Professor Shanna Swan has warned that current global trends could leave the median man with a sperm count of zero by the middle of the century.

Under that scenario, half of all men would produce no sperm, while many of the remainder would produce so little that they would be functionally infertile.

Such a collapse, described as “spermageddon,” could make natural human reproduction impossible within a generation.

Swan has linked the decline to several factors, including obesity, sedentary lifestyles, and increasing exposure to endocrine-disrupting chemicals.

Those chemicals can interfere with the body’s natural hormonal systems and have become widespread in modern consumer products and the environment.

Artificial Reproduction Moves Closer

The new research remains at an early stage, and scientists have not yet produced fully functional human sperm using the process.

However, the successful creation of early germ cells inside a laboratory-grown testicular structure brings researchers closer to developing an artificial alternative to natural sperm production.

Using advanced artificial intelligence systems, researchers detected hundreds of previously unknown earthquakes occurring beneath the massive David Glacier in East Antarctica, an enormous ice shelf stretching nearly 700 miles across one of the most remote regions on Earth.

The discovery is forcing scientists to reconsider long-held assumptions about Antarctica and raising new questions about what may be happening beneath the continent’s vast ice sheet.

Researchers admit that the findings reveal that far less is known about the frozen continent’s geology than experts previously believed.

AI Uncovers Hidden Seismic Activity

The findings were published in the journal Science after researchers used deep-learning algorithms to reanalyze seismic data collected between 2001-2004 and 2012-2015.

The earthquakes themselves were relatively small, ranging from magnitudes 1.6 to 3.5.

However, what shocked scientists was where they occurred.

The quakes originated more than 43 miles beneath the surface, which is far deeper than where most earthquakes are typically expected to occur.

Even more puzzling, they were discovered in the middle of tectonic plates rather than along the fault lines where seismic activity usually takes place.

Scientists now believe Antarctica’s underground structure may be far more complex than previously understood.

Researchers suggest the earthquakes are being triggered by a clash between the colder, rigid crust beneath East Antarctica and warmer, softer rock beneath West Antarctica.

“The earthquakes occur where the cold, rigid crust and upper mantle beneath East Antarctica meets warmer, softer rock beneath West Antarctica, and this contrast creates an abrupt change in tectonic strength,” explained lead researcher Long Ho of the University of Alabama.

The sheer number of earthquakes detected has surprised experts.

For decades, Antarctica was widely viewed as one of the least seismically active places on Earth.

That assumption is now being challenged.

The revelation comes amid a series of unusual discoveries being made deep beneath the Earth’s surface.

Earlier this year, scientists also identified a separate category of mysterious “continental mantle earthquakes” occurring roughly 55 miles below sea level.

While researchers believe different geological processes are responsible for those events, both discoveries point to significant gaps in scientific understanding of what is happening beneath the planet’s crust.

The Antarctica findings suggest there may be many more hidden seismic zones around the world that have gone undetected due to limitations in previous monitoring technology.

Researchers now believe artificial intelligence could uncover similar activity in other supposedly stable regions.

“Advanced seismic detection capabilities, such as those used here, could reveal that intraplate IDEs are more common globally than currently recognized,” the study states.

Beneath miles of ice lies a largely hidden landscape that scientists are only beginning to explore.

Now, with hundreds of previously unknown earthquakes emerging from deep beneath the frozen continent, researchers are warning that Antarctica may be concealing far more geological secrets than anyone realized.

The alarming findings come from researchers at the University of Milan, who analyzed 12,000 years of human population data to model how civilization would respond to extreme environmental, social, or economic shocks.

The study also revisits a controversial theory first proposed in the 1960s by physicist Heinz von Foerster.

At the time, researchers suggested that if population growth continued unchecked at historical rates, humanity would eventually reach a mathematical breaking point where growth became effectively infinite.

They predicted that the theoretical “Doomsday” scenario would occur around 2026.

That prediction never materialized as birth rates declined across much of the developed world.

Every now and then I get an article that I hesitate to blog about, not because it does not stimulate ideas and speculations, but rather because it is both so broad and so profound, so lengthy and well-considered, that my attempts to summarize much less to speculate upon its content, simply seems like a distraction from the article itself. Such is the case with this article shared by one of this website’s long-time readers, members, and article-contributors, A.B.:

The UFO Question and the Missing Physicists by Adrian Soler

The article begins with a summary of an interview that was the occasion and inspiration for the writing of the article itself:

On March 8 of this year, Jesse Michels sat Eric Weinstein and Dr. Eric W. Davis across from each other on the American Alchemy podcast and let them go for four hours. Weinstein is a Harvard-trained mathematician who has spent five years taking the UAP question seriously at professional cost he openly acknowledges. Davis is an astrophysicist with thirty years of access to the programs at the center of that question — NIDS, AAWSAP (the Defense Intelligence Agency’s $22 million Advanced Aerospace Weapon System Applications Program), AATIP (its successor, the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program), the UAP Task Force — and one of the few scientists on record claiming direct knowledge of an American crash-retrieval program. The conversation was technically rigorous, occasionally tense, and arrived at what may be the most consequential single observation to emerge from the public UAP discourse: not about crashed craft or recovered biologics, but about an absence.

This piqued my interest immediately because like many readers of this website I had often seen Eric Weinstein on various interviews talking about various subjects. He had even been interviewed by Tucker Carlson on subjects far afield from mathematics and UFOs.

As the opening paragraph of the article ends, the discussion was about a glaring absence in the discussions of UFOs, and it is an absence I can identify with, for I have encountered it myself – repeatedly – in my own brief forays into the field of UFOlogy with my various books on UFO-related matters, including, and especially, the topic of the so-called Nazi Bell. In my various books on that topic I have attempted to “reverse engineer” what I believe to have been the possible engineering principles at work in the device, based on various details in the original story, and from those details and speculated engineering principles, to extrapolate possible deeper underlying physics concepts and speculations. It is precisely the absence of physics in the discussions of the UFO subject that Mr. Weinstein is concerned about:

Weinstein kept returning to one question: where are the physicists? Davis confirmed that David Grusch’s approximately forty firsthand witnesses — the people whose testimony Grusch brought to the Intelligence Community Inspector General — were engineers and material scientists. Electrical engineers. Aerospace engineers. Thermodynamicists. Not one theoretical physicist, not one applied physicist at the doctoral level. Davis then described a conversation with a senior executive at one of America’s largest legacy aerospace companies, a material scientist who had worked on the retrieval program for roughly two decades. Weinstein asked through Davis: where are your physicists? The executive’s answer was that they never had any.

Weinstein’s response was immediate. “There’s no physics in it. It doesn’t make any sense.” He reached for an analogy: “It’s like saying we’re having trouble performing Beethoven’s Fifth, and we have the finest accountants, optometrists, boxers, and cardio trainers. And you’re like, well, what about violinists and violists? And it’s like, oh, well, we don’t do that. So, of course, you’re not going to play Beethoven’s Fifth. Because you can’t engineer your way out of a science problem.”

This makes eminent sense to me, having encountered the same difficulty with the Nazi Bell, only in that case there were physicists involved, and they clearly implied something. Two in particular stood out: Dr. Walter Gerlach, world famous for his part in the famous Stern-Gerlach experiment, and Dr. Kurt Debus, a plasma physicist and specialist in high voltage direct current. Gerlach, let it be noted, was also well-known for his pre-war conversations with the Austrian physicists Lense and Thirring on the possibilities of frame-dragging for satellites in orbit, long before such satellites were “up there” and long before such effects were indeed observed. All this suggested to me a physics concept having to do with rotating systems of plasma, with differential rotations of that plasma. Like the sun itself.

But there’s more, and again, it is something that during my attempts to “reverse engineer” the details of the Bell story that quickly became apparent, and to which I alluded in my various books and talks on the subject. Weinstein zeroed in on the problem:

If the craft described by Grusch, Davis, and dozens of named and unnamed witnesses genuinely exhibit the Five Observables — instantaneous acceleration without inertial effects, trans-medium travel, hypersonic velocities without acoustic or thermal signatures — then the gap between those capabilities and anything in the human aerospace inventory is not an engineering gap. It is a physics gap. Inertia cancellation has no mechanism in current physics. Instantaneous acceleration implies either a solution to the inertial mass problem or a geometry of spacetime we cannot yet describe. These are not problems that more skilled engineers solve. They require new mathematics.

Weinstein knows what new mathematics looks like. He has spent three decades attempting to produce some, in the form of his Geometric Unity framework — an effort to unify general relativity and the Standard Model that has not yet been validated but reflects genuine engagement with the frontier of theoretical physics. His frustration is not with UAP specifically but with a physics establishment he believes stopped taking risks after the Standard Model was completed in the 1970s, funneling theoretical talent into string theory and other programs that have produced no experimentally confirmed predictions in fifty years. When he surveys the retrieval program and finds no physicists, the frustration compounds: the most consequential physics problem in human history, if the program’s claims are accurate, has been managed without the people whose discipline defines it. (Emphasis added).

This quest for a higher order mathematics able to unify the geometries of relativity and the standard model has been there since Einstein first elaborated General Relativity (and, let it be noted, since Tullio Levi-Civita, the “inventor” of the tensor analysis, first pointed out problems and difficulties with Einstein’s mathematics), and mathematicians and physicists ever since have been on a quest for such higher order mathemetics, beginning with Kaluza-Klein theory, Vaclav Hlavaty, and Einstein himself in the 1920s and continuing throughout World War Two to today.

So where are the physicists?

This is where the article, and Weinstein, take there most interesting turn, right into the swirling network of contacts in the Jeffrey Epstein gravity well:

“I don’t know who Jeffrey Epstein was,” Weinstein says carefully, “but I would certainly bet money that he was a product of at least one or more elements of the intelligence community.” He is explicit that this is inference, not knowledge. What he points to is structural anomaly: Epstein was “certainly not a financier in any standard sense. That was a cover story.” A man of his claimed wealth — never satisfactorily sourced — with his specific access pattern, to the specific people he cultivated, performing no obvious financial function, maintaining inexplicable law enforcement impunity across decades, found dead in a federal holding cell under circumstances the FBI has since closed as suicide despite near-universal skepticism.

Weinstein’s particular focus is the science network. Epstein hosted gatherings under the name “Confronting Gravity” — conferences attended by Stephen Hawking, Nobel laureates, and leading theoretical physicists, ostensibly to discuss advanced physics including gravity research. He funded the MIT Media Lab, Harvard’s mathematics department, and the research of figures including Marvin Minsky and Seth Lloyd. He sat at dinners with the people closest to the frontier of theoretical physics for more than two decades. If you wanted to know who was getting close to something significant in the physics of gravity or inertia — if your function was surveillance rather than finance — this is what the infrastructure would look like. Not a government program running wiretaps. A well-funded, socially fluent, apparently legitimate presence at every table where the relevant conversations were happening.

Epstein himself, in a media training session with Steve Bannon that was later recorded and included in the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) January 2026 document release, supplied the most revealing piece of testimony on his own motivations. Asked why he had acquired Zorro Ranch in New Mexico, he was unambiguous: Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) had been downsizing after the Cold War, laying off its nuclear weapons physicists and what he called the “high priests of high energy physics,” and he wanted to be close to them. He framed it as an opportunity — disaffected, brilliant people, suddenly without institutional homes, available to be cultivated. What the record establishes is that a man Weinstein believes was an intelligence asset explicitly positioned himself at the intersection of displaced Los Alamos physicists and the New Mexico geography that connects atomic weapons research, UAP retrieval lore, and the Sandia-Kirtland complex.

Weinstein drew these threads together explicitly in a March 2026 appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored, describing what he believes is a long-standing program centered in specific physical locations. “I think Wright-Patterson Air Force Base is going to be very important,” he said. “There’s a site in Indiana, several in New Mexico. My guess is that you’re going to find out that a lot of these stories — just take New Mexico — New Mexico is going to be the hub that connects atomic weapons, UFOs and Jeffrey Epstein, and they’re all going to merge into one story about power that we don’t understand.” The Indiana site Weinstein references is almost certainly the Naval Surface Warfare Center at Crane (NSWC Crane) — the third-largest naval installation in the world by geographic area, tucked into the forests of Martin County roughly twenty-five miles southwest of Bloomington, housing over 3,800 personnel of whom the majority are scientists, engineers, and technicians focused on electronic warfare, strategic systems, and special operations technology. It has appeared in UAP-adjacent testimony and attracted the kind of institutional silence that characterizes the facilities Weinstein is describing.

The article goes on from there, but I want to bring my citations of what I regard as its most relevant points to a close here in order to indulge a bit in today’s high octane speculation by recalling, in this context and with Mr. Weinstein’s observations as the context in which to view certain other stories in this UFO-related saga, among them some personal anecdotes. Shortly after completing my book The Philosophers’ Stone, portions of which further elaborated the Bell story, I was contacted by individuals in an American state who informed me that they had read my books on the Bell, agreed with one of my observations that two types of electrical potential were involved, and that they wanted to invite me to observe some of their proof of concept experiments… provided I would sign a non-disclosure agreement. I declined the offer because I felt that it was an attempt to silence me on any public discussion of related matters. Around the same time I was informed by the then-head of the website American Antigravity, Mr. Tim Ventura, that SAIC had also been doing Bell-related experiments and that the US Navy was involved. Readers that remember the old Art Bell Coast-to-Coast AM radio shows may recall Mr. Ventura was a frequent guest on the show.

During the same time period the stories about the statements of former Lockheed-Martin skunkworks director, Ben Rich, were circulating widely. These stories interest us in this context because they imply that engineering-physics link that Mr. Weinstein has rightly pointed out has been missing from the discussion. It is, indeed, like trying to perform a Beethoven symphony without the musicians, but with plumbers, computer programmers, airplane pilots and mechanics, in short, everyone but people who can play musical instruments. In Ben Rich’s case, the implications of some of his alleged statements about “finding an error in the equations” and now we are able “to take ET home” are intriguing, for in the context of Mr. Weinstein’s observations, Rich’s statements imply (1) a mathematics is in existence capable of accounting for the five observable effects, (2) the mathematics resulted from discovering an error in the equations (prompting the all-important question: whose equations about what subject?), and finally, that this discovery of an error that possibly led to a whole new form of mathematics was also engineerable.

There’s another clue: NASA’s Dr. Harold “Sonny” White, as regular readers here know, also reworked Mexican physicist Miguel Alcubierre’s 1990s “warp drive” paper and concluded that the mass-conversion metric in the paper was far too large, and that a smaller one would work, one “small” enough to be just barely within the conceivable possible capabilities of humanity within several decades. And with that clue about “metrics” were back to Einstein, and to Tullio Levi-Civita’s original contention that there was a problem with Einstein’s math. The two men, Levi-Civita and Einstein exchanged correspondence on the matter…

… but one now wonders if the records of that correspondence we’ve been told about are indeed “the whole story”. Every detail from this article, including the “Five Observables”, considered in the wider contexts of Ben Rich, Dr. Sonny White, Alcubierre, and, yes, even the Nazi Bell, suggest that the problem is not within the quantum-mechanical side of physics, but in the relativistic one.

Death of ‘genius’ Alabama woman linked to investigation of missing, dead scientists

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is looking into possible connections in a string of deaths or disappearances of U.S. scientists, possibly including an Alabama woman who died in 2022.

At least 11 scientists, some with ties to sensitive U.S. research with the Department of Defense and NASA, have died or disappeared, some under unusual circumstances, including a nuclear physicist who was fatally shot in Massachusetts, a retired Air Force General missing from his New Mexico home and an aerospace engineer who disappeared during a hike in Los Angeles.

The FBI confirmed Tuesday it is “spearheading the effort to look for connections into the missing and deceased scientists,” and “is working with the Department of Energy, Department of War, and with our state and local law enforcement partners to find answers,” CNN reported.

Included in the list of deaths being questioned is that of Huntsville resident Amy Eskridge, who died in 2022 at age 34. Fox News reported her death was from a self-inflicted gunshot wound but official details have not been publicly released. It is unclear when Eskridge’s death was first linked to the other cases.

According to her obituary, Eskridge was a “genius” who “questioned the conventional wisdom on everything from the universe to the nanoparticles of the atom.” She was the co-founder of the Institute for Exotic Science in Huntsville with work focusing on experimental propulsion concepts, including antigravity research.

It was that research that led to an explosive 2020 interview with YouTuber Jeremy Rys.

“We discovered antigravity, and our lives went to (expletive) and people started sabotaging us,” she said during the interview. “It’s harassment, threats. It’s awful.

“If you stick your neck out in public, at least someone notices if your head gets chopped off,” Eskridge said. “If you stick your neck out in private, they will bury you. They will burn down your house while you’re sleeping in your bed, and it won’t even make the news.”

In the 2-hour, sometimes rambling interview, Eskridge comments on aliens, foreign nation-state agents and other concerns she had about her security and privacy.

While federal officials, as well as President Donald Trump, have commented on the deaths and called for an investigation, there is no confirmed link between the incidents.

Eskridge’s father, Richard Eskridge, a former NASA employee who worked with his daughter, also dismissed conspiracy theories.

“Scientists die also, just like other people,” he told NewsNation.

In a statement, NASA said it is “coordinating and cooperating with relevant agencies in relation to the missing scientists. At this time, nothing related to NASA indicates a national security threat. The agency is committed to transparency and will provide more information as able.”

Trove of leaked documents prove US lab where missing scientists worked was studying UFOs

According to a report from the New York Post, a cache of leaked documents from the deceased cybersecurity chief of Los Alamos National Laboratory suggests the U.S. government ran secret UFO investigations for decades at the storied New Mexico facility—where two scientists have recently vanished without a trace.

Investigative reporter Jeremy Corbell makes the explosive claims in his upcoming documentary “Sleeping Dog,” set for release on May 17. Corbell says he obtained the materials from the son of the late lab cybersecurity chief after the man’s death.

“Throughout my work as a journalist, I have become a central clearinghouse for sensitive Unidentified Aerial Phenomena material in my reporting,” Corbell told The Post. “It is now routine for families of deceased insiders to contact me with hidden documents their loved ones left behind.”

The documents include internal memos, drawings, and Polaroids. One key item details a high-level, all-day meeting on April 24, 1991, at Los Alamos. Representatives from the CIA, National Security Agency, Navy, and Army gathered to examine “Atmospheric Anomalies,” covering the 1987 Gulf Breeze UFO incident in Florida and the 1989 Belgian UFO wave.

Discussions also touched on “Soviet offerings,” sensor development, and collaboration with civilian institutions like MIT and Stanford.

“These documents provide absolute confirmation that the US government has maintained a secret, decades-long program to uncover the intent and origins of those piloting UFOs,” Corbell stated.

Los Alamos, founded by Robert Oppenheimer, has long been shrouded in secrecy. In the past year, two former employees disappeared: retired engineer Anthony Chavez, 78, last seen in May 2025 while walking near his home without his wallet or keys, and administrative assistant Melissa Casias, 39, who vanished in June 2025 after dropping off lunch for her daughter. Her phones were found reset to factory settings.

Corbell noted recognizing names of scientists linked to the UFO studies. Identities in the film are withheld for safety reasons. The revelations come amid broader concerns over missing U.S. scientists involved in sensitive programs.

Sightings of meteors continue to surge, and scientists aren’t sure why

A string of bright fireballs streaking across the sky in March caught the attention of skywatchers across North America and Europe, prompting questions about whether something unusual was happening above Earth.

Reports poured in from multiple states and countries as unusually vivid meteors — known as fireballs — flashed overhead. Some were so bright they were visible across wide areas, and a few were even accompanied by loud booms or falling debris.

According to reporting by The New York Times, the sightings felt clustered enough to seem out of the ordinary. But scientists say the explanation is more grounded.

“There’s no evidence that we’re in some kind of special swarm,” one expert told the publication, emphasizing that the apparent spike is likely due to better detection and reporting rather than a true surge in incoming space rocks.

Fireballs are simply larger or faster pieces of space debris entering Earth’s atmosphere. As they burn up, they can produce intense الضوء and dramatic streaks across the sky. Most disintegrate before reaching the ground.

In recent years, improved technology has made these events more noticeable. Doorbell cameras, dashboard cameras and security systems now routinely capture the sky, while social media allows witnesses to quickly share what they see.

“All of a sudden, everybody has a camera in their pocket,” a scientist said, explaining why sightings seem more frequent now than in the past.

The American Meteor Society, which tracks such events, recorded multiple fireballs over just a few days in March. Some were seen over states including Ohio, Texas and California, while others appeared over parts of Europe.

Despite the dramatic visuals, experts stress there is little cause for concern. Earth is constantly bombarded by small bits of cosmic debris, most of which burn up harmlessly.

“It’s happening all the time,” another expert said. “We’re just noticing it more.”

Scientists also note that March is not typically associated with major meteor showers, meaning these fireballs likely came from random, sporadic debris rather than a single known source.
