U.N. Suspends Strait of Hormuz Passage After Iran Attacks Cargo Ship

Hope — Wed, 08 Jul 2026 14:00:00 +0000

The United Nations on Thursday suspended its evacuation plan for ships stranded in the Persian Gulf after a cargo ship was struck by a “projectile” as it exited the Strait of Hormuz.

Senior U.S. officials said the ship was attacked by Iran’s terrorist Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in a bid to assert its control over international shipping through the vital waterway.

Taiwanese shipping company Evergreen said on Friday that its cargo ship Ever Lovely, owned by an Evergreen subsidy in Singapore, was struck by a projectile on Thursday as it passed 3.6 nautical miles off Oman’s coastal island of Khawr Naiwah.

The Ever Lovely had been trapped in the Persian Gulf for over 100 days before it loaded cargo from Iraq’s port of Umm Qasr and set course for Singapore on Thursday morning flanked by three other ships.

The commercial vessels were all following the safe course along the coast of Oman recommended by the U.K. Maritime Trade Operations (UKMOT) center. UKMTO also reported the incident, as did the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore, which denounced the attack as “unprovoked, unjustifiable, and a breach of international law.”

Evergreen said the ship suffered damage near its bridge windows, but the hull remained seaworthy, the engines were functioning normally, and the crew was unhurt.

The U.N.’s International Maritime Organization (IMO) on Thursday paused its plan for clearing up the shipping and tanker bottleneck created by Iran’s closure of the Strait of Hormuz in March, although IMO Secretary-General Arsenio Dominguez noted that the Ever Lovely was not involved in its operation.

“I have been informed of an attack today in the Gulf of Oman on a vessel which passed through the Strait of Hormuz. This vessel did not transit under IMO’s evacuation framework,” said Dominguez.

“I have always reiterated that the safety of the seafarers remains paramount. Therefore, to ensure a coordinated approach and navigational safety, the evacuation plan will be paused until further clarity is obtained,” he said.

Two senior U.S. officials told the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) on Thursday that the IRGC attacked the Ever Lovely with a one-way attack drone, whose maneuvers before detonating suggested a deliberate and premeditated strike on the ship intended to cause terror without inflicting severe damage or casualties.

The attack took place only a few hours after the IRGC asserted its authority over the Strait of Hormuz, rejected the IMO’s evacuation plan, and ordered three tankers using the IMO route to turn back from the strait. The IRGC said it would be “unacceptable and dangerous” for any ships to follow the IMO’s guidance without permission from Iran.

Iran issued a belligerent statement on Friday challenging the “interventionist, irresponsible, and provocative” statement by the United States and its Gulf allies that Tehran would never be allowed to collect tolls, fees, or ransoms from international shipping.

The joint statement from Secretary of State Marco Rubio and the members of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) stressed “the importance of reopening the Strait of Hormuz,” and asserted that “free, unconditional, and unrestricted navigation, including the right of transit passage as guaranteed under international law, remains essential to regional and global security.”

The joint statement explicitly rejected “any tolls, fees, or attempts to assert control over the Strait,” and welcomed Oman’s support for the IMO evacuation plan.

“Safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz cannot be guaranteed under ambiguous arrangements, parallel routes or decision-making that does not take Iran’s role as a coastal state into account,” responded Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi.

Iranian state television later reported on the three ships turning back from their “unauthorized passage” through the Strait of Hormuz after the IRGC’s terrorist attack.

Iran’s Secret Weapon – The Undersea Cables That Could Shake the Global Economy

U.S. ISRAELI EMPIRE COLLAPSING – FOLLOW THE MONEY

GVS Deep Dive

The Benjamin Netanyahu and Donald Trump invasion in Iran, is now changing the world.

Iran’s pressure over the Strait of Hormuz may no longer be limited to oil tankers, naval routes, and energy prices. New reports suggest Tehran is considering control over undersea internet cables passing through Hormuz, potentially requiring permits, fees, Iranian law, and Iranian companies for repair and maintenance.

This video breaks down why the Strait of Hormuz is not only an oil chokepoint, but also a digital chokepoint connecting Europe, the Gulf, and Asia. Beneath the waters that carry global energy flows are fiber-optic cables carrying banking data, cloud services, AI traffic, telecom networks, financial messaging, and e-commerce.
If Iran turns Hormuz into a digital leverage point, the consequences could reach far beyond the Gulf.

Hope — Thu, 30 Apr 2026 14:00:00 +0000

Pfizer just announced a brand-new Lyme disease vaccine, and at the exact same moment, farmers are discovering mysterious boxes of live ticks deliberately dumped on their land. We’re asking the questions nobody else will. Then, US-Iran peace talks have officially collapsed, Iran is refusing to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, and CPI just jumped from 2.4% to 3.3%, with 4.0%+ inflation on the table if this escalates further. Trump’s “Greatest Reset” is also on the table tonight.

Lufthansa has just cuts 20,000 flights to ration fuel as Iran war drags on

Hope — Tue, 28 Apr 2026 17:00:00 +0000

Lufthansa plans to cancel thousands of short-haul flights across Europe in the coming months as airlines grapple with a worsening jet fuel crisis tied to the conflict involving Iran, according to reporting by The New York Times.

The German carrier said it would remove about 20,000 flights from its schedule between May and October, a move aimed at conserving fuel and cutting costs as supply tightens and prices surge. The reductions will mainly affect short-distance routes within Europe, particularly those that are less profitable.

“In total, 20,000 short-haul flights will be removed from the schedule through October,” the airline said, adding that the cuts are expected to save significant amounts of fuel.

The decision reflects a broader strain on the aviation industry, where fuel costs have climbed sharply in recent weeks. Prices for jet fuel have risen dramatically since the start of the conflict, with supply chains disrupted and key shipping routes affected.

Airlines have been forced to make difficult adjustments. Lufthansa described the cuts as part of a broader effort to streamline operations, noting that some routes are no longer financially viable under current conditions.

The airline said its overall capacity would be only slightly reduced, by less than 1 percent, suggesting that it plans to shift passengers to other flights where possible.

“The price of jet fuel has doubled since the outbreak of the Iran conflict,” the company said, underscoring the scale of the challenge facing carriers.

Industry analysts say the situation could worsen if fuel shortages deepen or geopolitical tensions continue. Some European hubs are already facing tighter supplies, raising concerns about further disruptions during the busy summer travel season.

Lufthansa has already begun implementing changes, including early cancellations and adjustments to its flight network. Additional schedule updates are expected in the coming weeks.

The impact is not limited to one airline. Carriers across Europe and beyond are cutting flights, grounding aircraft, or reworking routes to cope with rising fuel costs and uncertainty about supply.

For travelers, the changes may mean fewer flight options and higher ticket prices, especially during peak travel months.

“Capacity will be marginally reduced,” Lufthansa said, emphasizing that the airline is trying to balance operational needs with the realities of a volatile fuel market.

Something Bigger Is Going On With Iran… | Dave Hodges

Hope — Fri, 03 Apr 2026 20:00:00 +0000

Investigative journalist Dave Hodges returns to the program for a hard-hitting discussion on what may really be driving the escalating tensions with Iran. Is this just another geopolitical conflict—or is there a deeper agenda at play?
–
We examine the growing concern that powerful ideological forces may be pushing toward broader global destabilization under the guise of war. Are religious motivations influencing decisions that impact the entire world, regardless of whether others share those beliefs? And if so, what does that mean for the future?
–
We also discuss the growing collapse of confidence in government institutions. After years of corruption, deception, and narratives that don’t align with reality, the public response isn’t irrational—it’s a natural and healthy reaction to systemic failure on a massive scale.
–
This is a conversation that challenges surface-level explanations and asks the deeper questions many are starting to consider—but few are willing to say out loud.

Iran Warns It Is Waiting For Arrival Of US Troops To ‘Set Them On Fire’

Hope — Mon, 30 Mar 2026 14:00:00 +0000

With the Iran conflict nearing the one-month mark, the prospect of a US ground incursion is looking increasingly plausible.

The US Department of War is reportedly drafting plans for weeks of potential ground operations in Iran

Iranian officials have issued stark warnings in response.

Vowing fierce retaliation, Parliamentary speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said Iran is prepared for the arrival of American troops.

He said: Iranian forces “are waiting for the arrival of American troops on the ground to set them on fire and punish their regional partners forever”.

RT reports: Meanwhile, Iran claims it inflicted major damage on US military assets in the region. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said its Air Force carried out a missile-drone strike on Saudi Arabia’s Al-Kharj Air Base, destroying at least one Boeing E-3 Sentry AWACS surveillance aircraft.

US media reports and circulating images suggest a $270 million aircraft was destroyed, several others damaged, and at least 12 American troops injured, though the Pentagon has not confirmed the scale of the reported losses.

At the same time, The Washington Post reported that the US Department of War is drafting plans for weeks of potential ground operations. Officials cited by the outlet said any mission would likely involve limited raids rather than a full-scale invasion, with possible objectives including seizing Kharg Island, a key Iranian oil export hub.

Here are the latest developments:

The IRGC threatened to target two unnamed US- and Israeli-linked educational facilities unless Washington formally condemns Israel by 12:00 PM Tehran time on Monday, March 30, while Iran’s Foreign Ministry accused the US and Israel of deliberately targeting the country’s scientific and cultural infrastructure, citing strikes on major universities in Isfahan and Tehran.
Yemen’s Houthis, who only recently declared their entry into the conflict, said they launched a second wave of missile and drone attacks on Israel and vowed to continue operations until Israeli actions cease.
Protests against the war were reported in Tel Aviv and cities across the US and Europe, while in Lebanon crowds gathered in Beirut after three journalists were killed in what was described as a targeted Israeli strike.

U.S. Navy Turns Tail And FLEES Iran War Zone!

Hope — Fri, 27 Mar 2026 23:59:00 +0000

In this segment Jimmy and Americans’ Comedian Kurt Metzger analyze the catastrophic naval defeat for the United States unfolding in the Iran war, with the USS Abraham Lincoln reportedly limping back to the U.S. after being struck by Iranian missiles—a loss so severe that some in the international media are declaring that “the era of aircraft carriers is over” and “Western naval dominance has collapsed.”

Jimmy contrasts Iran’s claims of a successful strike with the U.S. military’s absurd cover story about a “fire in the laundry room,” noting that no American warship now operates within 700 km of the theater. He also highlights British politician George Galloway’s observation that navies are now obsolete and that this defeat is the biggest blow to U.S. military reputation since Vietnam.

Jimmy concludes that the entire war was built on lies and that the U.S. is facing a strategic catastrophe, with Iran’s low-tech wooden drones and missiles having rendered $13 billion carriers into “large expensive targets.”
