Massive Fire Tears Through UK Hospital After Solar Panels Burst Into Flames

A huge fire “involving solar panels” has torn through a maternity hospital in Bristol.

Plumes of thick black smoke filled the Bristol skyline following the fire that started at around 4.30pm at Saint Michael’s Hospital on Southwell Street on Thursday.

Firefighters confirmed that pregnant women and babies were forced to evacuate from the maternity hospital when the fire began in solar panels on the roof.

Meanwhile hundreds of schools and hospitals across the UK are set to receive £180 million for solar panels from the government’s new state-owned energy company. All thanks to Ed Miliband and his net zero drive.

The Express reports: Fire crews from 10 areas were deployed to battle the raging flames that burned through the roof of the building. The hospital was partially evacuated at the time of the incident and no injuries or casualties were recorded. The blaze has now been extinguished although five fire crews remained onsite into the evening for safety purposes. An investigation will follow into the cause of the fire, as confirmed by Avon Fire and Rescue.

St Michael’s Hill was closed in both directions, and queueing traffic built up due to the emergency service presence from Tyndall Avenue to Horfield Road.

Avon Fire and Rescue said: “Crews from Temple, Yate, Southmead, Bedminster, Hicks Gate, Patchway, Kingswood, Nailsea, Avonmouth, Weston-Super-Mare were called at 4:23pm to reports of a fire on the roof of a hospital involving solar panels on Southwell Street, Bristol.

“Upon arrival, crews located a fire on the roof of the building and began firefighting efforts.

“The hospital was partially evacuated at the time of the incident. We can confirm that the fire has now been extinguished, and we currently have five fire engines on scene including one turntable ladder for monitoring purposes.

“Police crews remain on scene to assist with traffic and cordon management. Some cordons are expected to be lifted. No injuries or casualties have been reported.”

10 Vaxxed Nurses at Massachusetts Hospital Diagnosed with Brain Tumors Simultaneously

At Newton-Wellesley Hospital in Massachusetts, a startling cluster of brain tumor diagnoses has emerged among vaccinated nurses on the fifth-floor maternal care ward. Ten longtime staff members have been affected simultaneously, sparking alarm and raising questions about a potential link between mRNA vaccines and cancer.

One nurse, speaking anonymously to WBZ-TV, expressed the growing unease felt by her colleagues as cancer cases mount. “You’re going into work every day with that feeling in your gut, and it’s a lousy feeling,” she said, reflecting on her own brain tumor diagnosis. “It’s getting to the point where the number just increases, and you start saying, am I crazy thinking this? This can’t just be a coincidence.”

Cbsnews.com reports: She claims as many as ten nurses who work on the floor have been diagnosed with different brain tumors over the last few years, some cancerous and some not. She says three have had surgery and believes the hospital has not been supportive enough.

“We want reassurance because this has not been a reassuring past few months for a lot of the staff members,” she said. “We want to feel safe, the same way we want to make our patients feel safe.”

The hospital confirms it has been investigating since December and has interviewed ten nurses, six of whom it says have differing brain tumors.

Hospital says “no environmental risk”

Mass General Brigham/Newton-Wellesley Hospital provided a statement to WBZ-TV saying an investigation found “no environmental risks.”

“After we became aware of reported brain tumors in individuals who currently or previously had worked in the same area of the hospital, we conducted an extensive investigation in collaboration with the Department of Occupational Health and Safety, Newton-Wellesley Safety Officer, radiation and pharmaceutical safety offices, and external environmental consultants.

Every staff member who came forward was given the opportunity to be interviewed by the Occupational Health and Safety team to evaluate each diagnosis in the context of their individual medical history and risk factors. To evaluate for any possible environmental exposures in that area of the hospital, comprehensive environmental assessments following CDC guidelines began in December.

The investigation found no environmental risks which could be linked to the development of a brain tumor. We presented these findings to relevant stakeholder groups, including the staff on the unit and the Massachusetts Nursing Association, and have held forums to meet with clinical and Occupational Health leaders to answer their questions. The hospital is providing the MNA with the test results from the investigation, including those of several external environmental firms.

Based on these results, we can confidently reassure our dedicated team members at Mass General Brigham/Newton-Wellesley Hospital and all our patients that there is no environmental risk at our facility. Millions of Americans may have unknowingly received COVID-19 mRNA vaccines as part of covert hospital programs allegedly designed to secure federal funding, according to U.S. attorneys leading a high-stakes investigation.

According to Wikipedia, Providence Health & Services is a not-for-profit Catholic health care system operating in seven western states: Alaska, Washington, Oregon, California, Montana, New Mexico, and Texas. The health system includes 51 hospitals, more than 800 non-acute facilities, and numerous assisted living facilities.

The Update University Hospital in Syracuse, New York, reinstated mask mandates on Thursday amid reports of an uptick of COVID cases and renewed media hysteria over a new subvariant.

“Effective immediately, mandatory masking is required by all staff, visitors, and patients in clinical areas of Upstate University Hospital, Upstate Community Hospital, and ambulatory clinical spaces, according to a memo sent to staff and obtained by Syracuse.com. “Clinical areas are defined as any location patients gather, wait, transport thorough, or receive care.”

All patients being admitted will also be tested for COVID-19, according to the memo. Upstate University Hospital said it will revisit the policies in three weeks. Syracuse.com reached out to several other hospitals in the region. Crouse Hospital indicated no plans were underway to update testing or masking policies. Meanwhile, St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center said it is reviewing policies.

The move comes as COVID-19 admissions tick up nationwide. In New York, new COVID-19 admissions were up 3 percent for the week ending Aug. 5, with a total of 650 new admissions, according to CDC data.

Dublin hospital imposes visiting restrictions due to Covid-19 outbreak

Visiting restrictions have been introduced at a Dublin hospital due to an outbreak of Covid-19, as the HSE admits little is known about the long-term impact of the virus.

Clontarf Hospital in north Dublin has confirmed three patients with the virus have been isolated, prompting the introduction of fresh restrictions. Covid-19 cases have risen in Irish hospitals recently.

According to the latest HSE data, there are 435 confirmed cases in Irish hospitals and 12 ICU cases. The latest outbreak comes as the HSE admits great unknowns about the impact of the virus and reinfections, long-term.

A HSE spokesperson said: “Longer term observational studies will be required to understand the health consequences presently being attributed to post COVID-19 infection. While we continue to understand more about the acute phase of COVID-19, there remains limited information regarding long-term outcomes.”

The visiting restrictions at Clontarf Hospital were implemented after an outbreak on the hospital’s Swan Ward. The hospital has had to limit visits to only one visitor per patient and no children are allowed on site.

Visitors have also been advised to “please wear a mask if requested by a member of staff,” and have been informed not to visit if they are feeling unwell with symptoms such as a sore throat, cough, temperature, shortness of breath etc.

A spokesperson for the hospital, which cares for a large number of older patients, said: “There are three cases of Covid-19 (day six) confined to one bay in one ward. There are no staff reported Covid-19 illness (cases.).”

“The affected ward is closed to visitors. However, depending on each individual, patient care needs and compliance with the infection prevention and control measures that are currently in place, visiting may be arranged at ward level,” the spokesperson added.

Flowers are not allowed into the hospital, as they “pose a risk of infection to susceptible patients”. Families are being offered a service of “sending love” via messages or letters to the hospital for loved ones, or for virtual visits via video calling.

The new Covid-19 variant, Eris has been detected in Ireland and this virus is more transmissible than previous variants. However, Clontarf Hospital said there had not been any reports on the type of variant within the hospital.

A HSE spokesperson further discussed the impact of Covid, adding: “COVID-19 is a new disease so information on it, its features and its course are still emerging.

“In general most people recover from ‘mild’ infections within two weeks and more serious diseases within three weeks.
