Homesteading, Apricot Harvests, Off-Grid Living, and Facing Disability Trolls: Life on the HopeGirl Homestead

hopegirl — Mon, 13 Apr 2026 09:09:30 +0000

Here I am at the end of a long day, sitting on the back porch, reflecting on this life I’ve built — the homesteading, the apricots, and the practical faith that carries me through it all. My days are filled with planting, harvesting, problem-solving, and building resilience. Life in Morocco is both beautiful and demanding, but it’s a journey of growth, creativity, and deep gratitude.

Apricot Harvest and Processing

Apricots — mishmash in Morocco — fill the trees all around my homestead. We pick, clean, pit, and freeze them after every harvest. My kitchen becomes a creative workshop: jars of jam, bottles of syrup, trays of cakes, tarts drizzled with orange blossom water, and ice cream flavored with my homemade apricot puree. I’ve even started experimenting with apricot wine alongside dehydrated slices I store for the coming months. Every piece of fruit finds its place in our self-sustaining rhythm — nothing goes to waste.

Last year’s harvest filled entire shelves with jars, and this year promises even more. I watch the syrup thicken as it cools, pull golden tarts from the oven, and press dehydrated marigold petals from my own garden onto the finished desserts. The smell of orange blossom water drifts through the house and mingles with the sweetness of baking fruit. I call it Mishmash Day — a celebration of work, resourcefulness, and gratitude.

Self-Sustaining Living and the Garden

When I walk through my garden, I see a mosaic of life: amaranth, carrots, turnips, tomatoes, chard, kale, cabbage, snow peas, beans, peppers, tangerines, and squashes. My lavender, geranium, cactus beds, and date palms frame the driveway garden where I return compost back to the soil. Apricot, peach, pear, orange, banana, loquat, and olive trees surround the property in green abundance.

I grow sweet potatoes in buckets, train grapes along the trellis, and watch passion flowers bloom like stars from another planet. Rose petals fill the air with fragrance, and every corner of this land reflects the care and intention I pour into it. For me, homesteading is more than growing food — it’s living deliberately, tending life from soil to table.

Off-Grid Energy and the Clean Energy Academy

Beyond recipes and gardens, my homestead is also an engineering lab. My husband Tavon designs practical off-grid solutions: solar-powered water systems, battery backups, and circuits that store and recycle energy efficiently. Power outages are common out here, and rural life demands preparation. Our goal is simple — independence — keeping the water running, the fridge cold, and the lights glowing when the grid goes dark.

Our years in Morocco have taught us lessons that old farmers once knew by heart: invention grows from need. Living off-grid means solving real daily problems — ordering parts, importing tools, building systems for water and power — and all of it builds a kind of wisdom you simply can’t learn in theory. Our Clean Energy Academy is taking shape again, a space for experiments, schematics, 3D files, and working technology for grid-down life.

As Tavon always says, the goal isn’t “free energy” — it’s open, practical, clean energy. Systems that can help people now, not someday. From boost converters to battery circuits, every test brings us closer to sustainable independence. Our homestead is becoming a blueprint for resilience.

Work, Discipline, and Integrity

Running a homestead and a business side by side is constant work. Between cooking, shipping, managing staff, and developing energy projects, the hours blur together. But I consider that work a blessing — it brings purpose, connection, and the means to help others.

My business employs about thirty people, half onsite at the factory and half working online. Many of them come from humble circumstances, some connected through our local church. Those weekly paychecks sustain real families, and honest work builds real dignity. So when our business is attacked — through harassment, slander, and online trolling — it doesn’t just hurt my husband and me. It threatens the livelihoods of an entire community, and that I take personally.

Disability, Compassion, and Responsibility

I want to take a moment to address something more serious — disability and online harassment. I have genuine compassion for people living with real physical challenges. I worked as a home health aide, and I spent that time caring for disabled and elderly patients — cleaning, cooking, helping them navigate daily life with dignity. Those experiences shaped me. They gave me deep empathy and respect for people who truly cannot do what they once could.

But I also have to draw a line. Many people receive disability benefits honestly, and I fully support that. What I cannot accept is when someone spends hours every day producing videos, trolling workers, spreading defamation, and attacking others online — while claiming a total inability to work. If someone has the energy and capacity to invest hours harassing people, then they have the capacity to invest hours earning. There are real online jobs out there — writing, freelancing, editing, SEO — that offer dignity and fairness.

My call isn’t against disability. It’s against idleness turned destructive. Work, in whatever form a person is capable of, brings meaning. Harassment destroys community. And my homestead, founded on labor and faith, refuses that spirit entirely.

Faith and Proverbs 31

At the close of my day, as the apricot jars cool on the counter and night settles over the olive grove, we read from Proverbs 31 — the passage of the noble woman:

“She is clothed with strength and dignity. She can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom and faithful instruction is on her tongue.”

These words define my household. Strength, dignity, and devotion — they are the foundation of my homesteading, my marriage, my work, and my community. They remind me that trading, planting, cooking, inventing, and tending all fall under divine purpose.

The Proverbs woman provides food for her family, selects wool and flax, extends her hands to the needy, and ensures her lamp never goes out at night. That spirit lives here — in my kitchen filled with apricot syrup, in our lab filled with circuit boards, and in the community we sustain through honest effort.

Lessons from My Homestead

Living this way has taught me lessons I carry with me every day:

Resourcefulness: Nothing goes to waste. Every apricot, every drop of syrup, every seed matters.
Teamwork: My marriage is a true partnership — in work and in creation.
Innovation through necessity: Off-grid living sparks a creativity as real as any patent.
Faith through labor: Strength grows in daily diligence, and gratitude sanctifies every task.
Community over conflict: Kindness feeds more people than criticism ever will.

Through apricot jam and solar panels, gardens and Proverbs, my homestead shows me every day what it means to earn peace by working the soil and keeping faith. Even when trolls attack, storms hit, or the power cuts out, my core remains: build, create, help, and trust that effort yields its own harvest.

I close my eyes and hold onto the final image of the day — orange blossom water cooling on the tarts, batteries charging in the workshop, and voices reading ancient words over the hum of cicadas. Strength and dignity are not theories. They are lived acts, repeated every single day.

CHANGE 5G EMF IN YOUR HOME WITH ORGONITE

hopegirl — Mon, 16 Apr 2018 15:36:19 +0000

It’s clear that there are health effects associated with wireless radiation, and the problem will only get worse with the installation of 5G cell towers dotting our neighborhoods and communities. Our communities had no say as to whether they wanted the cell masts or not, yet the local councils erected them anyway. And not everyone can just ‘pack-up’ and move, so what are we supposed to do? You need to create a field of protection around your body and home. Did you know that there are EMF blocking paints and foams you can purchase that will absorb most of the incoming harmful radiation entering your home? Did you know that you can change the chaotic harmful fields coming into your home from 5G cell towers into beneficial energy? Properly constructed orgonite can do just that!

When we started our research into orgonite almost three years ago I couldn’t get solid sleep for weeks. We were living in a flat on the 5^th floor in the middle of large town, surrounded by five cell towers. I told a close friend of my insomnia and she gave me an epoxy resin ‘puck’ filled with aluminum shavings. She said it would help me sleep better. Looking at the puck I skeptically asked if she was serious? My technically trained mind couldn’t understand how such a thing could possibly help, but I would do almost anything to get a good night’s rest. So, I slept with the puck in the bed next to me, and I hadn’t slept so deep in weeks! It was then I concluded that I was electro-sensitive and I had to research the science of Orgone energy as defined by the late Dr. Wilhelm Reich. In modern science literature, this energy is also synonymous with ‘scalar’, or ‘torsion-field’ research. When Dr. Reich first observed a blue glow around living blood cells and other living micro-organisms he initially terms the phenomena bioelectricity. Further investigation however showed that it was a more complex and powerful bio-energetic force. It is a form of life energy at work within living organisms. When Dr. Reich observed under a microscope the blue glow around living red blood cells, he called it ‘Orgone energy’. This field seems to manifest from the ambient (i.e. ether) and is observable in all living cells.

Dr. Reich conducted a series of experiments to study the orgone field, and it lead to large body of work that other researchers have replicated over the decades. One is called and Orgone Accumulator. This is a box with walls of many alternating layers of steel and an organic layer (sheep wool or plastic). Reich observed a standing orgone field with a constant elevated temperature gradient inside the box (2° C above ambient). The field seemed to also have an electrical property that he was able to measure with specially designed gas discharge tubes. He placed various materials within this field and observed the changes against the identical sample within a wooden ‘control’ box and discovered the following:

Blood samples decayed more slowly in the orgone chamber than the control box upwards of 70% longer! This test is famously known as ‘The Reich Blood Test’ and has been successfully replicated numerous times.
Seedlings that were given at least 24 hrs. in the orgone accumulator yielded healthier plants than their control counterparts
He was able to treat health ailments with his patients who sat in adult sized accumulator boxes ranging from sever depression to cancer. The field he observed had a psychosomatic quality that removed stress and calmed his patients.

His other device was what is most famously known as an atmospheric cloudbuster. It’s an array of long steel tubes connected by thick copper cables at one end which was electrically grounded either to a well or preferably underground water reservoir. The open end of the steel pipes pointed skyward toward the direction to draw incoming moisture-carrying clouds. It was used primarily to draw-in rain water to an area, thus restoring it to its natural conditions. He was able to do this repeatedly by greening deserts in the mid-West. You may be interested to know that some communities currently using this technology to grow crops in arid conditions with success.

Orgonite, a compound of resin (organic insulator) with metal shavings or fine metal particulates, is the evolution of those earlier experiments decades past. A constant standing orgone field surrounds orgonite and balances the electrical fields in the environment. This field can be observed by freezing large samples of ice water, above and below the orgonite sample. As the ice freezes the hydrogen and oxygen bonds form a tornado vortex pattern (torsion field) in the ice! Very cool effect indeed. This field also emits soft negative ions in the environment that bind with positive airborne particulates, making orgonite a passive ionizer. This field has a strong influence over a decent range, although subtle. Four orgonite pyramids gridding a property will break up chemtrails overhead and leave an opening of blue sky extending for miles around. The negative ions and accompanying field extends from the apex, hence the geometric shape. Likewise, if you have orgonite in your garden, you will notice a dramatic improvement in the health of your plants. These electrically negative-charged torsion fields combat the 5G microwaves. They create a shield around your body, home and garden. The best thing about orgonite is that it’s easy to make! We talk more about this amazing technology and remove the mystique around it in the video below.

5G EMF Protection With a Heavy Metal Detox.

hopegirl — Sun, 15 Apr 2018 14:49:26 +0000

The missing puzzle piece when discussing the toxic effects high frequency electromagnetic radiation is heavy metal toxicity in the body. Metals in aerosols, water and the food supply has led to slow bio-accumulation. In combination with wireless technology, heavy metal toxicity has created a very dangerous mix that puts everyone at risk. In a sea of electromagnetic radiation, when you have heavy metals in your body, your body essentially becomes an antenna to these lethal signals. Ask yourself what happens when you put metal in the microwave? When one considers the numerous ways we take on heavy metals from the environment, unless you are already on a heavy metal detox regime, chances are you are toxic.

Geoengineering is a global phenomenon and the aerosols (chemtrails) are known to contain numerous heavy metals. There’s also metals in the water and food. Illnesses are exacerbated by the heavy metals. The most conservative estimates are that the chemtrail phenomenon started globally in the mid-1990s. So, if you are in your mid-20s or older you have accumulated decades worth of trace heavy metals in your tissues. This is an example of slow bio-accumulation from the environment. Heavy metals alone have been linked to Alzheimer’s. Studies of particulates found in atmospheric aerosol spraying has found the following substances; aluminum, barium, strontium, mercury, lead, fluoride, etc. These contaminates lodge in your brain, bones, skin and central nervous system, basically turning you into an antenna of these millimeter signals.

You must detox your body of heavy metals! You have to do it. It’s the other half of the equation to staying healthy. This detox plan must also be able to remove fungus and other pathogens because your immune system is the best defense. You need to start drinking clean water from a trusted local source, either mineralized or distilled. I’ve been drinking distilled water religiously for almost two years now and love it. It’s a good way to flush the heavy metals from your body and reduce the toxic uptake. A good way to determine your body’s toxicity is to get a ‘hair mineral trace analysis’ and an ‘electrolyte base test’. The hair analysis just requires a section of hair be removed from your scalp to be sent to the lab. That section of hair has all the information the laboratory needs to determine all the substances absorbed in the body. It’s a vey accurate way to find out what heavy metals are in the body and what minerals you are lacking in your diet. A high protein mineral fatty-acid diet and drinking lots of fluid is critical in building detoxing agents. Fatty acids must be constantly replenished because its deficiency leads the nervous system vulnerable to fat-soluble metals. Taking metal-detoxing herbs is also key to restoring natural function. The herb cilantro removes metals out of the bones and the central nervous system fast. Cilantro must also be taken with Chlorella (an intestinal absorbing agent), and are normally sold together if you purchase online. Studies have shown that if you take these for 42 days, it will remove up to 80 percent of heavy metals from the body!

The video below also has important advice using health minerals salts to detox the body from heavy metals and chemtrails, and how this can benefit those who are suffering from electronic harassment.

WHAT THEY DON’T WANT YOU TO KNOW ABOUT 5G

hopegirl — Sat, 14 Apr 2018 14:37:47 +0000

This is what they don’t tell you about 5G. The frequencies used are much higher than 4G and not good for humans. Your skin is a sponge for these higher frequencies and as a consequence, can cause inflammation due to its ability to trigger the body’s pain receptors. The same type of technology is already used by governments in crowd-dispersal technology using microwaves to induce pain in the targets’ skin to feel like its burning. In addition, studies have shown microwave to:

Cause DNA damage
Create electro-smog that interferes with natural processes within the body
Harm plant life
Harm animal life and pollenating insects (i.e. bees)

For example, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the United States are not regulating this technology, but instead has been fast tracked. Bioinitiative.org has gathered 3600 peer-reviewed studies relating to the biological health effects of electromagnetic radiation. Saferemr.com is a University of California Berkeley School of Public Health website which looks at scientific research worldwide around electromagnetic radiation safety. Please understand, the telecom industry is investing billions of dollars in hiding the data about the health effects of 5G, and is instead funding their own studies and putting their own people into positions of power, infiltrating the agencies that are supposed to protect the public. Legislation is being passed across the planet that allows for these new 5G cell towers to be built between residential homes in large number.

Is 5G “A Thing?” (Video)

Interestingly, industry leaders do tell its investors what they do not want the public to know. Ehtrust.org, founded by internationally renowned scientist, Dr. Devra Davis, PhD,. MPH educates individual, health professionals and communities about controllable environmental health risks and policy changes needed to reduce those risks. They have accumulated a database of annual reports shared with communication companies to their investors. These reports cite risks, profit figures, and lawsuits filed against the company related to the technology giving its users brain tumors and other cancers. Did you know that if you get ‘Cingular Wireless Phone Insurance’, it provides no coverage for microwaves? These same companies only provide insurance coverage for the physical hardware (the smartphone) and not the person! We highly recommend you visit the site and see the reports for yourself. Needless to say, after reviewing the reports you will have to conclude that all these companies and their investors are very well aware that this is a health problem, but they’re not going to tell you that in their marketing campaign. More about this explosive revelation is discussed in the video below.
