Harvard Professor Issues Alert: Tech Elites Are Pushing AI ‘Factory Farming of Humans’

A world-renowned Harvard University professor is sounding the alarm about an emerging AI-driven system that threatens to strip ordinary people of their autonomy and hand unprecedented power to unelected tech corporations.

Historian Jill Lepore warns that powerful elites are constructing what she calls an “artificial state,” a system in which critical decisions once made by citizens and accountable governments are increasingly surrendered to machines controlled by corporations.

Lepore has previously described the transformation in chilling terms as the “factory farming of public life.”

Speaking on “The New York Times” podcast “Hard Fork,” Lepore warned that the traditional nation-state, particularly constitutional democracy, is being steadily displaced by technology that removes human beings from the decision-making process.

Government under such a system would operate “not by the consent of people but by machines that are making decisions,” Lepore said.

And those machines belong to corporations.

‘They’re Not Interested in What the People Want’

Lepore stresses that the “artificial state” has not completely arrived.

However, she warns that its infrastructure is already being constructed around the public.

Meanwhile, influential elites are openly envisioning a future in which their technological systems wield powers traditionally reserved for governments accountable to voters.

“The rhetoric that comes out of this particular historical moment is really about the evanescence of modern liberal democracy, constitutional democracy,” Lepore said.

According to Lepore, the people pushing that vision aren’t “interested in what the people want.”

“Because actually, what the people want is not to have AI and not to have data centers,” she continued.

“So that’s the crisis.”

Lepore expands on the warning in her upcoming book “The Rise and Fall of the Artificial State.”

Her investigation began with a deceptively simple question about the increasing replacement of human interaction with automated systems.

“Who decided this is a way we should be living?” Lepore asks.

‘Factory Farming of Public Life’

Lepore argues that society is undergoing a profound transfer of power as corporations increasingly control the infrastructure through which Americans communicate, obtain information, and participate in public life.

News, political information, election coverage, and even information about candidates increasingly reach voters through privately controlled digital platforms.

AI is now accelerating that transformation.

Lepore previously described the emerging system in an article for The New Yorker as the “factory farming of public life, the sorting and segmenting, the isolation and alienation, the destruction of human community.”

The warning points to a society in which human beings are increasingly separated from one another while algorithms mediate their relationships with institutions, businesses, information, and eventually government itself.

Instead of interacting with another person, Americans increasingly encounter chatbots.

Instead of discussing political questions with neighbors, officials, or experts, voters are beginning to ask AI chatbots whom they should support.

Political communications are increasingly being generated with AI, while government officials are using the technology to assist decision-making.

Meanwhile, AI-powered systems are making mass surveillance dramatically easier by processing enormous quantities of information collected about ordinary citizens.

Silicon Valley Pushes AI as ‘Inevitable’

Lepore also takes aim at one of the most powerful arguments coming from Silicon Valley: that the AI revolution cannot be stopped.

The public is repeatedly told that artificial intelligence is inevitable and that governments must get out of the way or risk falling behind.

Lepore rejects that fatalism as a “bogus premise.”

Central to the argument, she says, are claims that government regulation inevitably destroys innovation and that technological advancement inherently strengthens democracy.

Lepore warns that neither proposition should simply be accepted.

The same promises accompanied previous technological revolutions.

“So now, the AI people come back with the same argument that was made about the internet — the personal computer, the internet, and social media,” she said.

Machines Are Moving Deeper Into Human Decision-Making

The stakes are now significantly higher because AI is not merely another communications technology.

The machines are increasingly being inserted directly into decisions that once required human judgment.

AI systems are influencing what people read, what information they encounter, how institutions communicate with them, and how governments and corporations process enormous quantities of personal data.

Lepore’s warning is ultimately about who controls those systems and therefore who controls the decisions they increasingly make.

Under constitutional government, political power is theoretically derived from citizens who can hold elected officials accountable.

Under the “artificial state” Lepore describes, that relationship begins to break down as algorithms controlled by enormously powerful corporations assume functions once exercised by people and public institutions.

The result is the chilling system she describes as the “factory farming of public life,” where citizens are sorted, segmented, surveilled, and increasingly isolated from one another while machines quietly assume greater control over their lives.

And Lepore’s most disturbing question remains unanswered:

“Who decided this is a way we should be living?”

Scientists Push to Grow ‘Brainless’ Human Clones for Wealthy Elites

A chilling new report is raising fresh alarm over how far elite-backed science may be willing to go, revealing that some researchers are openly discussing the possibility of growing “brainless” human body clones for future use by wealthy individuals who are aging or dying.

The idea sounds like dystopian fiction.

However, according to a new investigation, a billionaire-backed startup has been tied to discussions about creating non-sentient replacement bodies, human clones without functioning brains, that could one day serve as vessels for brain transplants.

Billionaire-Backed Startup Tied to ‘Brainless Clone’ Discussions

The startup, R3 Bio, recently surfaced in reporting as it sought funding to develop what it described as non-sentient monkey “organ sacks.”

The structures that would reportedly contain all major organs except the brain.

As first reported by Wired, the concept was presented as an alternative to animal testing and a possible future source of transplantable organs and tissues.

But a follow-up investigation by MIT Technology Review reported that the company’s founders had privately discussed a far more disturbing long-term goal.

They are pushing to create full human bodies without brains so wealthy elites could potentially transfer their brains into them should they die or become sick.

According to the report, one reason for excluding the brain would be to avoid some of the ethical and legal objections that would come with creating a sentient cloned human.

Company Denies Plot While Leaving Door Open

After the reporting drew attention, the company pushed back on the claims.

R3 Bio said its founder “never made any statement regarding hypothetical ‘non-sentient human clones’ [that] would be carried by surrogates.”

The company said that “any allegations of intent or conspiracy to create human clones or humans with brain damage are categorically false.”

At the same time, cofounder Alice Gilman acknowledged to the publication that the “team reserves the right to hold hypothetical futuristic discussions” involving brainless human clones.

That response is likely to do little to calm critics, who see the idea itself as a glaring warning sign of where biotech ambitions may be heading.

Experts Warn Idea Is Morally and Scientifically Fraught

Scientists cited in the report also made clear that the proposal faces enormous ethical and biological barriers.

Jose Cibelli, a Michigan State University researcher who was among the first to try cloning human embryos in the early 2000s, said the obstacles are immense.

Even with those barriers, the report said R3 Bio founder John Schloendorn has continued exploring the concept for years, including through private seminars and investor pitches.

A Dystopian Vision Hiding Behind Biotech Language

The broader concern is not just whether the idea is currently possible, but that it is being seriously discussed at all.

Animal cloning has been pursued since the 1990s, with Dolly the sheep becoming the first mammal cloned from an adult cell in 1996.

But moving from cloned animals to human bodies has long been viewed as a line that should never be crossed.

Now, critics warn, that line appears to be under pressure from ambitious researchers and billionaire-backed ventures determined to push the boundaries of life, death, and identity.

In a 2024 LinkedIn message cited by the report, Schloendorn wrote:

“We will try to do it in a way that produces defined societal benefits early on, and we need to be prepared to take no for an answer, if it turns out that this cannot be done safely.”

That statement may sound cautious on the surface.

But for many Americans, the fact that “brainless” human clones are even being floated as a serious futuristic discussion is disturbing enough.

The question is no longer just what scientists can do.

It is what they are preparing to justify doing next.

The Storms of Control: How Elites Are Weaponizing the Weather Against Us

In a time when our trust in government institutions is at an all-time low, we’re witnessing a disturbing reality—one that once seemed like the stuff of conspiracy but is now becoming impossible to ignore.

Geoengineering is no longer a fringe theory; it’s a documented fact. HAARP, cloud seeding, and Directed Energy Weapons (DEWs) are being employed to reshape our environment, and not for the greater good. What was once whispered in backrooms is now on full display.

Hurricanes—once natural occurrences—have become tools of manipulation. And the timing couldn’t be more convenient, or more insidious.

Take Hurricane Helene, for example. This wasn’t just another storm. Evidence suggests that Helene was a geoengineered weapon of mass destruction, deployed strategically to strike areas that overwhelmingly supported Donald Trump. It tore through the Southeastern United States, decimating communities that are politically conservative.

North Carolina, a key target, not only faced the wrath of Helene but, in the aftermath, cleared the way for the establishment (and BlackRock) to potentially move forward an open-pit lithium mine. A mine that locals fought hard to prevent—until the storm conveniently cleared the way.

And again, less than a few weeks later we had to stare down the barrel of another weaponized storm. Hurricane Milton, a monster Category 5 system, brewed up in the Gulf of Mexico, that struck Tampa, Florida—a conservative stronghold that has historically been pivotal in elections. The same Tampa that, conveniently, was the focus of a war-gamed scenario eerily similar to Event 201, in which elites predicted, and planned for, a monster hurricane devastating the region.

Are we seriously supposed to believe this is a coincidence?

The people need to wake up.

Look at the timeline. Look at the targets. These aren’t accidents; they’re carefully calculated assaults, designed to destabilize and demoralize. Weather manipulation technologies, long-held by defense contractors like Raytheon and Lockheed Martin, are now deployed against us with impunity. HAARP, the ionospheric heater in Alaska, is no longer a fringe curiosity; it’s a weapon of mass destruction, capable of altering atmospheric pressure zones to steer hurricanes, control jet streams, and create the very storms that destroy lives and livelihoods.

The same goes for cloud seeding and DEWs. And let’s not forget that private defense contractors, not the government, are pulling the strings behind our weather forecasting, while gag orders ensure that the truth never sees the light of day.

They are using these technologies to manipulate, devastate, and crush anyone who stands in their way. And they’re doing it with full impunity. Why? Because they’ve told us what they’re doing. They’re flaunting their power, demonstrating just how little we can do about it. The elites have weaponized the weather itself to push their agenda, and as usual, the victims are the everyday people who have no say, no power, and no protection.

This is premeditated democide.

The catastrophic damage these storms will leave in their wake is not just collateral damage. It’s targeted destruction aimed at reshaping the political landscape, silencing opposition, and clearing the way for their greed-fueled plans. The lithium mine in North Carolina is just the beginning. Who knows what lies ahead if we don’t start questioning and confronting this unprecedented level of control?

So, as Hurricane Milton leaves the shores of Florida, I ask you—are we supposed to sit back and let it happen again? Are we going to continue pretending that these storms are mere acts of nature? Or are we going to wake up to the terrifying reality that the weather itself has become a weapon in the hands of those who already control too much?

We can’t afford to ignore the truth any longer. These storms aren’t just random acts of God. They’re deliberate acts of power—man-made, controlled, and directed for a purpose. And if we don’t confront this now, the storms will only grow more devastating, their targets more brazenly political, and their toll on our freedom more catastrophic.
