RFK Jr. Demands Worldwide Ban of Mercury in Vaccines

U.S. Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has demanded a worldwide ban on the use of mercury in vaccines.

In a speech posted to X, Kennedy addressed the Minamata Convention on Mercury, which was “born of a shared moral conviction that no human being should suffer from exposure to mercury.”

RFK said:

“It’s inexcusable that governments around the world still allow mercury-based compounds in healthcare when safe alternatives exist. Now that America has removed mercury from all vaccines, I call on every global health authority and every party to this convention to do the same.”

The Defender reports: “There is no use for mercury in the body, and all mercury is toxic,” Dr. Meryl Nass said. “Kennedy‘s call to remove mercury from all commercial medical products is entirely sound and, if heeded, will protect many individuals from future injuries.”

The World Health Organization considers mercury one of the top 10 chemicals of major public health concern, calling it “toxic to human health.”

“Thimerosal is a mercury-based preservative that has never undergone proper safety testing in humans,” Kennedy said in his Monday video. He added:

“Hundreds of peer-reviewed studies identify it as a potent neurotoxin, a mutagen, a carcinogen and an endocrine disrupter. Thimerosal’s own label requires it to be treated as hazardous material and warns against ingestion. There is not a single study that proves it safe.”

Global treaty against mercury exempted vaccines

The Minamata Convention on Mercury is a global treaty aimed at protecting human health and the environment from the adverse effects of mercury and its compounds.

More than 150 countries are party to the convention, which was adopted in 2013 and took effect in 2017.

In his virtual address to convention delegates, Kennedy noted that their fight against mercury began with a global treaty that omitted vaccines from oversight. He said:

“In 2010, as the treaty took shape, negotiators made a major exception — thimerosal-containing vaccines were carved out of the regulation. The same treaty that began to phase out mercury in lamps and cosmetics chose to leave it in products injected into babies, pregnant women and the most vulnerable among us. We have to ask why.”

The media representative for the Minamata Convention on Mercury did not respond to The Defender’s request for comment.

However, Monika Stankiewicz, executive secretary of the Minamata Convention, said in her welcoming remarks at the conference’s opening on Monday that major challenges remain in the fight against mercury. She said:

“The heart of our convention lies with those most vulnerable to mercury exposure and disproportionately impacted — Indigenous peoples, local communities, women and children. …

“… I remain deeply optimistic that the Minamata Convention will continue to make a positive and lasting impact on people’s lives everywhere and will serve as a shining example of multilateral cooperation.”

Countries debate total ban on dental amalgam

The sixth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Minamata Convention on Mercury, which runs through Friday, includes more than 1,000 participants from governments, intergovernmental organizations, United Nations bodies, civil society, Indigenous people and youth.

Delegates are reviewing proposals to phase out dental amalgam, address mercury in skin-lightening products, curb the use of mercury in small-scale gold mining, and explore mercury-free alternatives for vinyl chloride monomer, a key ingredient in PVC plastic.

The treaty requires signatories to take steps to phase out mercury-based dental fillings. On Monday, several countries, including the U.S., called for a worldwide ban on mercury-based dental amalgams by 2030.

Some African countries support a stricter rule, banning the production, import and export of the fillings. Burkina Faso’s representative highlighted that poorer countries face challenges in safely managing mercury waste because “there is insufficient — or even a complete lack of — infrastructure.”

However, Britain’s delegate argued that a full ban by 2030 would come “too soon.” The official acknowledged the strong environmental reasons for reducing global reliance on dental amalgam but emphasized that decision-makers should also consider the cost and durability of alternatives.

The Minamata Convention is named after Minamata, Japan, which experienced a decades-long incidence of mercury poisoning after tainted industrial wastewater contaminated the bay in the mid-20th century. The mercury accumulated in fish and shellfish, poisoning thousands of people and leaving many dead or severely disabled.

This year’s multidose flu vaccines contain mercury

In June, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s vaccine advisory committee voted to no longer recommend flu vaccines that contain thimerosal. Instead, committee members voted that all children and adults receive only single-dose influenza vaccines, which don’t contain mercury.

In July, Kennedy led the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) in adopting the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices’ recommendation to remove thimerosal from all U.S. influenza vaccines. Thimerosal was removed from all routine childhood vaccines in 2001.

Flu vaccine manufacturers confirmed they have the capacity to replace multidose vials containing mercury with single-dose shots, according to HHS’ July press release.

However, five multidose vials of influenza vaccine — which contain mercury — are listed among the options for the 2025-26 flu season, according to a chart compiled by Immunize.org.

The CDC website, updated Oct. 28, states, “Thimerosal is a mercury-based preservative that has been used for decades in the United States in multi-dose vials (vials containing more than one dose) of medicines and vaccines.”

According to the site, there is no link to autism or evidence of harm caused by low doses of thimerosal in vaccines, except for minor reactions like redness and swelling at the injection site.

WEF Demands ‘Collaboration’ on ‘Bird Flu’ to Usher In ‘New World Order’

The World Economic Forum (WEF) is demanding that governments “collaborate” with the unelected globalist organization to usher in a “new world order.”

According to WEF President and CEO Børge Brende, a “global collaboration” is essential for tackling “bird flu,” “Covid,” climate change,” and “cybercrime.”

However, Brende warns that the world will “enter a period of instability and volatility” unless “this new world order” transition is completed soon.

Brende made the call during the launch of the WEF’s new “Global Cooperation Barometer.”

The event was held shortly before the 2025 WEF Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland next week.

During his remarks, Brende laid out the WEF’s demands for global collaboration.

Brende instructed leaders in government and business to prepare for the WEF’s globalist vision of a “new world order.”

He argued that the world has become “very fragmented” due to many alleged crises.

However, he argued that next week’s WEF meeting in Davos will provide solutions for “cross-border challenges” in the form of a “new world order.”

“What we really will bring into Davos is how to collaborate in a very fragmented world,” Brende explains.

“There are challenges that are cross-border challenges.

“We knew from the pandemic, where seven million people died from Covid, that Covid doesn’t travel with a passport.

“The borders are no security for that. You have to collaborate.”

“We see, for example now the bird flu that is emerging,” he continued.

“We just have to also in the future make sure that when it comes to climate change, when it comes to, for example, cybercrime that cost the world now $2 trillion a year.

“There should be enough common interest to collaborate even in a competitive world.”

Brende then argued that a “new world order” is the answer to these alleged “cross-border” issues.

However, he claimed that the WEF doesn’t “really know what the new world order is about” while insisting that it must be ushered in.

“One can say that three decades of increased cooperation that we saw after the Cold War has definitely ended,” Brende asserts.

“We are between world orders.

“We had one world order post the Cold War that enhanced and incentivized cooperation.

“Now we don’t really know what the new world order is about, but cooperation has to play a role in that new world order.

“Currently, between orders, and we know that from history too, that there is disorder, so one has to really struggle to find ways of cooperating when countries are also competing — competing for increased influence in a new world.

“Hopefully, this new world order is not the jungle growing back, but there [are] ways also to collaborate in a very competitive world,” he added.

Brende’s calls come after the WEF recently promised globalists that millions of human workers will soon be eliminated and replaced by artificial intelligence (AI) technology.

As Slay News reported, the WEF insists that 41 percent of companies worldwide will replace their human workers by 2030.

The WEF Future of Jobs report for 2025 states that AI will automate nearly half of the jobs traditionally performed by humans in just five years.

The report surveyed hundreds of large companies globally.

Following the survey, the unelected globalist organization promises a dramatic, albeit destructive, shift in the workforce.

The report was released ahead of the organization’s annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland.

The WEF reveals that 77 percent of businesses plan to reskill and upskill their remaining employees to adapt to AI-driven workplaces.

Klaus Schwab’s organization gloats that AI will “help” human workers and make companies operate more efficiently.

Rather than being made redundant, the WEF insists that people will have more free time without the burden of work.

However, the reality is far less optimistic for humans in the long term.

Instead, AI is dismantling the foundation of job security for millions and making humans obsolete.

UN Demands Digital IDs for the Public to Tackle ‘Hate Speech’

The globalist United Nations is calling on world governments to mandate digital IDs for members of the general public as part of plan to allegedly tackle “hate speech.”

A UN committee has adopted two resolutions that seek to usher in global digital IDs.

One of the resolutions orders the UN’s Department of Global Communications to develop rules for “new and traditional media to address hate speech narratives.”

The Fourth Committee (Special Political and Decolonization) also adopted a resolution further promoting the UN’s “Our Common Agenda” plan.

The plan proposes, among other tyrannical goals, a bank account-linked digital ID for all citizens who wish to participate in society.

The Fourth Committee resolution also advances the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), UN Pact for the Future, and Global Digital Compact.

All of the plans are pushing for digital IDs, censorship, and mass surveillance.

The schemes are all backed by major countries.

Ahead of the adoption of the documents, representatives of a number of countries spoke in favor of expanded censorship under the UN umbrella.

Italy’s delegate advocated strongly for the use of AI in combating “misinformation and disinformation.”

The UK’s socialist government representative reiterated the country’s commitment to the UN Pact for the Future and Global Digital Compact.

The UN Pact includes the far-reaching censorship law, Online Safety Act.

The UK official noted that the law forces companies “to remove illegal online content, including illegal mis and disinformation generated by AI.”

In addition, the UK remains committed to characterizing so-called “misinformation” as a major threat.

The European Union also essentially co-signed the pact along with El Salvador, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Israel, and Malaysia.

The unelected EU is also expressing deep concern over “disinformation” of various types, and calling for the UN to work more on countering it.

Pakistan’s delegate remarked that Big Tech companies should be “collaborated” with.

The nation warned that Meta and Google should not put profit before the need to join “the war on disinformation.”

As for individuals accused of spreading disinformation, Pakistan proposes to make use of the UN’s Global Principles for Information Integrity.

The plan is designed to promote not only fighting “misinformation” and “hate speech,” but also censoring and demonetizing content algorithmically.

However, a meeting before the adoption of the texts also heard some dissenting voices, notably that of Argentina.

The country’s representative raised concerns that the term “hate speech” can be abused by those wishing to stifle “pluralistic debate.”

According to a UN press release, this delegate “dissociated himself” from those paragraphs in the documents that refer to “hate speech, the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and Our Common Agenda.”
