Iowa Advances Bill to Ban Forced Vaccinations, Protect Churches, Homes, and Businesses From Governor Emergency Powers

The Iowa legislature is advancing a major medical freedom and civil liberties bill that would permanently block the governor from forcing vaccinations, closing churches, regulating private homes, or mandating business shutdowns during declared disasters or public health emergencies.

House File 2694 would impose some of the strongest statutory restrictions in the nation on gubernatorial emergency authority.

During COVID-19, Governor Kimberly Reynolds (R) used Iowa emergency powers to close businesses, restrict public gatherings, and temporarily cap religious gatherings.

The new bill, which already passed the Iowa House by a 67-23 vote on March 10, 2026, is now moving through the Iowa Senate after clearing committee stages and being placed on the Senate calendar for further action.

As of today, a new Senate amendment (S-5230) has been filed, signaling the legislation remains active in the final stages of the legislative process.

Health freedom advocates say HF2694 could be strengthened by explicitly banning vaccine passports, mask and testing mandates, medical-status discrimination, school mandates, and prolonged emergency powers to close remaining loopholes for indirect future medical coercion.

What HF2694 Would Do

Ban Forced Vaccination Orders

Under the bill, disaster emergency powers could not:

“Require a vaccination.”

Protect Houses of Worship

The governor would be prohibited from closing or regulating worship services for any reason, including under disaster or public health emergency declarations.

“The governor shall not close, place a mandate on, or otherwise regulate a place or practice of worship for any reason.”

Protect Private Homes

Emergency powers could not regulate conduct inside private residences.

Prevent Forced Business Shutdowns

Public health emergency declarations could recommend closures, but could not require lawful private businesses to cease operations.

Block Executive Election Law Changes

The governor would be prohibited from unilaterally changing election laws during emergencies without legislative approval.

RFK Jr. Demands Worldwide Ban of Mercury in Vaccines

U.S. Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has demanded a worldwide ban on the use of mercury in vaccines.

In a speech posted to X, Kennedy addressed the Minamata Convention on Mercury, which was “born of a shared moral conviction that no human being should suffer from exposure to mercury.”

RFK said:

“It’s inexcusable that governments around the world still allow mercury-based compounds in healthcare when safe alternatives exist. Now that America has removed mercury from all vaccines, I call on every global health authority and every party to this convention to do the same.”

The Defender reports: “There is no use for mercury in the body, and all mercury is toxic,” Dr. Meryl Nass said. “Kennedy‘s call to remove mercury from all commercial medical products is entirely sound and, if heeded, will protect many individuals from future injuries.”

The World Health Organization considers mercury one of the top 10 chemicals of major public health concern, calling it “toxic to human health.”

“Thimerosal is a mercury-based preservative that has never undergone proper safety testing in humans,” Kennedy said in his Monday video. He added:

“Hundreds of peer-reviewed studies identify it as a potent neurotoxin, a mutagen, a carcinogen and an endocrine disrupter. Thimerosal’s own label requires it to be treated as hazardous material and warns against ingestion. There is not a single study that proves it safe.”

Global treaty against mercury exempted vaccines

The Minamata Convention on Mercury is a global treaty aimed at protecting human health and the environment from the adverse effects of mercury and its compounds.

More than 150 countries are party to the convention, which was adopted in 2013 and took effect in 2017.

In his virtual address to convention delegates, Kennedy noted that their fight against mercury began with a global treaty that omitted vaccines from oversight. He said:

“In 2010, as the treaty took shape, negotiators made a major exception — thimerosal-containing vaccines were carved out of the regulation. The same treaty that began to phase out mercury in lamps and cosmetics chose to leave it in products injected into babies, pregnant women and the most vulnerable among us. We have to ask why.”

The media representative for the Minamata Convention on Mercury did not respond to The Defender’s request for comment.

However, Monika Stankiewicz, executive secretary of the Minamata Convention, said in her welcoming remarks at the conference’s opening on Monday that major challenges remain in the fight against mercury. She said:

“The heart of our convention lies with those most vulnerable to mercury exposure and disproportionately impacted — Indigenous peoples, local communities, women and children. …

“… I remain deeply optimistic that the Minamata Convention will continue to make a positive and lasting impact on people’s lives everywhere and will serve as a shining example of multilateral cooperation.”

Countries debate total ban on dental amalgam

The sixth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Minamata Convention on Mercury, which runs through Friday, includes more than 1,000 participants from governments, intergovernmental organizations, United Nations bodies, civil society, Indigenous people and youth.

Delegates are reviewing proposals to phase out dental amalgam, address mercury in skin-lightening products, curb the use of mercury in small-scale gold mining, and explore mercury-free alternatives for vinyl chloride monomer, a key ingredient in PVC plastic.

The treaty requires signatories to take steps to phase out mercury-based dental fillings. On Monday, several countries, including the U.S., called for a worldwide ban on mercury-based dental amalgams by 2030.

Some African countries support a stricter rule, banning the production, import and export of the fillings. Burkina Faso’s representative highlighted that poorer countries face challenges in safely managing mercury waste because “there is insufficient — or even a complete lack of — infrastructure.”

However, Britain’s delegate argued that a full ban by 2030 would come “too soon.” The official acknowledged the strong environmental reasons for reducing global reliance on dental amalgam but emphasized that decision-makers should also consider the cost and durability of alternatives.

The Minamata Convention is named after Minamata, Japan, which experienced a decades-long incidence of mercury poisoning after tainted industrial wastewater contaminated the bay in the mid-20th century. The mercury accumulated in fish and shellfish, poisoning thousands of people and leaving many dead or severely disabled.

This year’s multidose flu vaccines contain mercury

In June, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s vaccine advisory committee voted to no longer recommend flu vaccines that contain thimerosal. Instead, committee members voted that all children and adults receive only single-dose influenza vaccines, which don’t contain mercury.

In July, Kennedy led the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) in adopting the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices’ recommendation to remove thimerosal from all U.S. influenza vaccines. Thimerosal was removed from all routine childhood vaccines in 2001.

Flu vaccine manufacturers confirmed they have the capacity to replace multidose vials containing mercury with single-dose shots, according to HHS’ July press release.

However, five multidose vials of influenza vaccine — which contain mercury — are listed among the options for the 2025-26 flu season, according to a chart compiled by Immunize.org.

The CDC website, updated Oct. 28, states, “Thimerosal is a mercury-based preservative that has been used for decades in the United States in multi-dose vials (vials containing more than one dose) of medicines and vaccines.”

According to the site, there is no link to autism or evidence of harm caused by low doses of thimerosal in vaccines, except for minor reactions like redness and swelling at the injection site.

Denmark To Ban Social Media For Under-15s

The Danish government is proposing a ban on several social media apps for children under 15 years old.

Danish PM Mette F Frederiksen told Denmarks parliament that the move was to protect children from the ‘monster’ that had been unleashed.

She warned that social media was stealing children’s childhoods and was fueling anxiety, depression, and social isolation.

The Danish government has also announced it would ban mobile phones in schools and after-school clubs. “Mobile phones and social media are stealing our children’s childhood.” the PM said.

Sky News reports: Research published by Denmark’s wellbeing commission earlier this year found 94% of the country’s young people had a social media profile before they turned 13 – despite that being the minimum age for many social media platforms.

It also found nine to 14-year-olds were spending an average of three hours a day on TikTok and YouTube.

Ms Frederiksen did not give details on how a ban would be enforced – an issue Australia is grappling with – but there is some public support for her proposal.

In 2024, 50,000 people in Denmark signed a petition calling for a ban on TikTok, Snapchat and Instagram.

Parents should be able to give permission for their children to have accounts from the age of 13, according to Ms Frederiksen.

Earlier this year, the Danish government also announced it would ban mobile phones in schools and after-school clubs, meaning that almost all children aged between seven and 16-17 will be required by law not to bring their phones into school.

According to TRT world, Denmark’s move follows similar steps from across the world, where stricter age limits on TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat aim to shield children from harmful algorithms.

A French parliamentary committee last month called for a ban on social media for children under 15 and a digital curfew for teens, citing TikTok’s harmful influence.

Australia has introduced a world-first bill banning children under 16 from social media. Platforms including TikTok, Facebook, Snapchat, Reddit, X, and Instagram could face fines up to $33 million for failing to block underage accounts.

South Korea has passed legislation banning phones and smart devices during school hours, effective March 2026.

Many nations have implemented similar restrictions, including Finland, Italy, the Netherlands and China.

Türkiye is planning phased age limits, with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan warning that screen addiction is “spreading like a plague.”

Florida Introduces New Bill To Ban Weather Modification

A Republican Senator has introduced bill SB 56 in the Florida state senate to ban weather modification activities in the state.

According to Newsweek, state Senator Ileana Garcia introduced the legislation last month/

The Independent reports: The bill states that “the injection, release, or dispersion, by any means, of a chemical, a chemical compound, a substance, or an apparatus into the atmosphere within the borders of this state for the express purpose of affecting the temperature, the weather, or the intensity of sunlight is prohibited.”

The legislation outlines that anyone who violates the proposed law would be subject to a second-degree misdemeanor and a fine of up to $10,000.

The legislation also states that the governor of Florida should “consider steps that could be taken to mitigate the harmful consequences of emergencies.”

The bill, if passed, would also repeal certain parts of current weather modification laws, such as definitions and licenses.

“The bill essentially repeals outdated provisions related to various aspects of the weather modification law, including definitions, licensing requirements, and the processes surrounding the application and issuance of licenses,” Garcia told Newsweek in a statement.

“More specifically, it prohibits certain acts intended to influence temperature, weather patterns, or sunlight intensity within our state’s atmosphere,” she added. “In summary, this legislation will enhance our regulatory framework to safeguard against improper use while promoting responsible practices in weather modification.”

It’s “critical for us to engage in this conversation, as our constituents deserve to know that their government is taking their concerns seriously and is committed to responsible oversight,” Garcia emphasized.

Google Announces Worldwide BAN on Independent Media From Search Results

Google has has partnered with the UN, WHO and other globalist organizations in a new censorship tool, according to LaToya Drake, head of Google News Lab.

Google News Lab is “a team within the Google News Initiative whose mission is to collaborate with journalists to fight misinformation” and other things. And, the Google News Initiative (“GNI”) “works with publishers and journalists to fight misinformation.”

Expose-news.com reports: Below are the short descriptions from GNI’s ‘About’ page. The titles are misleading. For example, following the ‘Our partners’ hyperlink contained in the words “learn more” does not lead to a list or overview of its partners. It leads to ‘Case Studies’: Some “stories” about “how news organisations around the world are growing their news coverage and digital businesses.” After which Google advertises some other of its products and invites the reader to “sign up for our newsletter.”

Google’s Global Censorship Tool

Last week, Swiss software developer Dejan Georgiev tweeted: “Google’s new global censorship tool was introduced today via an email press release.”

The following uses the points that Geogiev highlighted about GNI’s new censorship tool as a backbone to which we have added information for context. A copy of the Twitter thread above, with some additional comments.

What is GNI’s true purpose? Its purpose is to eliminate dissent on any topic Google chooses. “The algorithms are Google’s last-ditch attempt to control the internet before people worldwide can no longer access it. The goal is to have one point of view. Google calls it ‘Data Commons’,” Naked Truth News wrote.

Hosted by Google, Data Commons aggregates data from a wide range of sources into a unified database. It is a collection of data and tools which, broadly speaking, comprise a “knowledge graph” linking data from numerous open sources, supporting schemas, an API to access data in the graph, a graph browser, and a fact-check dataset.

In a video published a week ago, LaToya Drake encouraged “fact-checkers” and journalists to explore the digital tools designed specifically for them to help “verify the authenticity and accuracy” of online images, videos, and reports.

Far from the noble intention of assisting with the factual verification of information online, Geogiev wrote that Google’s algorithms are designed to delete websites that criticise topics such as:

Republicans In Nine Florida Counties Adopt Resolution Calling For Ban Of COVID Vaccines

A movement is gaining momentum to pressure Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, county sheriffs, and the Florida Legislature to ban COVID-19 vaccines and all other mRNA vaccines in the state.

The 83-page resolution also asks state Attorney General Ashley Moody to immediately seize all remaining vaccine supplies and conduct a forensic analysis of them.

The so-called “Ban the Jab” resolution adopted by the local Republican executive committees was written by psychotherapist Joseph Sansone.

It was adopted first by local-level GOP officials in Lee County, which includes Ft. Myers. It was then adopted by the committees in Collier, Lake, Santa Rosa, Seminole, St. Johns Hillsborough, and Brevard Counties. Franklin County became the ninth county to pass it on Aug. 19.

“On behalf of the preservation of the human race, the Lee County Republican Party calls upon Gov. DeSantis and the state legislature to prohibit the sale and distribution of Covid injections and all mRNA injections in the state of Florida, and for the state Attorney General to immediately seize all Covid injections and mRNA injections in the state of Florida and have a forensic analysis conducted,” the committee said in voting to adopt the resolution.

The resolution includes more than 140 exhibits of evidence that the authors say point to the independent findings of biomedical professionals and others concerned about vaccines.

None of the executive counties responded to The Epoch Times’ request for further comment.

The CDC declined to comment. The Republican Party of Florida, Pfizer, Moderna, and the FDA did not respond to requests for comment from The Epoch Times.

Accusations Against the Vaccine

The resolution adopted by GOP officials across the state includes a statement from Francis A. Boyle, the human rights lawyer and international law professor credited with writing the Biological Weapons and Anti-Terrorist Act of 1989. That legislation established the U.S. Code’s current bioweapon definition.

Mr. Boyle described the vaccines as “COVID frankenshots” and alleged that they are “existentially dangerous to the

It also cites a coalition of 17,000 physicians and medical scientists gathered in May 2022 for what they called the Global COVID Summit.

That summit decided to “recognize that the disastrous COVID-19 public health policies imposed on doctors and our patients are the culmination of a corrupt medical alliance of pharmaceutical, insurance, and healthcare institutions, along with the financial trusts which control them.”

The resolution also cites the national Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS), which chronicles reports of adverse reactions to vaccines including COVID-19 vaccines.

Following the COVID-19 vaccine rollout, there was a reported 1,700 percent increase in VAERS reports and a 4,400 percent increase in reported “life-threatening conditions,” according to Florida’s own VAERS data.

In total, more than 41,000 adverse-effect VAERS reports were filed in Florida in 2021 and more than 9,000 in 2022.

The Governor’s Actions

Mr. DeSantis, currently running for the Republican nomination for president, already has taken measures to push back against vaccine mandates in the state.

He persuaded the Florida Supreme Court to impanel a grand jury in December 2022 to determine if any crimes were committed during the vaccine’s rollout.

In May, he signed four medical freedom bills.

Senate Bill 252 prohibits discrimination based on vaccination status and bans vaccine passports.

House Bill 1387 bans gain-of-function research in the state of Florida.

Senate Bill 1580 guarantees freedom of speech protections for physicians and medical professionals, such as protection for whistleblowers and the ability to object to participating in any treatments.

And Senate Bill 238 link provides protection against discrimination based on health care choices by keeping any investigations on the matter confidential.

Florida Surgeon General Dr. Joseph Ladapo has been critical of the federal government’s pressure for citizens to submit to COVID-19 vaccines.

“Healthcare professionals should always communicate the risks of a medical intervention to their patients in a manner that is clinically appropriate and meets standards of ethical practice,” he said during a round-table discussion with Mr. DeSantis in December 2022.

“President Biden and Big Pharma have completely prevented that from happening—it is wrong.

“With these new actions, we will shed light on the forces that have obscured truthful communication about the COVID-19 vaccines.”
