(OPINION) In tonight’s podcast, we discuss how the White House has shifted its 6G strategy into high gear, viewing it not just as a faster version of 5G, but as a critical battleground for national security and global economic dominance. Many don’t realize that in the fine print of this executive order, 6G networks will provide the foundation for operating cutting-edge technologies of the next decade, including AI, robotics, and implantable technologies, which will provide the very framework for the coming beast system. We then discuss how Mexico is fully on board with eliminating cash and fully embracing the deployment of a nationwide
Health ID Card system. We also discuss Anthropic’s terrifying capabilities of “Claude Mythos,” with executives warning that the new AI model is so dangerous it would cause a wave of catastrophic hacks and terror attacks if released to the wider public.

But this year was not about cooperation – it was about leverage. The public agenda focused on technology, climate, and “global risks”. Beneath that language, the real conversations revolved around territory, recognition, market access, and population control. Davos 2026 was less about consensus and more about who gets to set the terms as geopolitical competition intensifies.

Here’s our attempt to summarise what actually happened, and why it matters to us all.

Greenland and the Return of Negotiable Borders

Unsurprisingly, Greenland was centre stage. President Trump’s comments about the island were treated by many as theatrical provocation, but that misses the point. Raising Greenland at Davos was not about a single land purchase. Instead, it normalised the idea that territory – especially strategically critical territory – is once again negotiable.

As we outlined in our previous article, “Why Everyone Suddenly Cares About Greenland“, the island sits at the intersection of Arctic shipping routes, space surveillance, critical minerals, and missile defence. Treating Greenland as an asset to be discussed openly among elites signals a vital shift away from the post-Cold War assumption that borders are fixed and untouchable. That previous assumption depended on a world where security was stable and resources abundant – neither condition holds today.

What this really means is that sovereignty has been re-priced. Control of land isn’t just symbolic or historic anymore, but it’s become transactional again particularly where security and supply chains overlap. Importantly, Davos did not recoil from this idea. Instead, it was treated as a practical question of leverage. That alone tells us how much the rules have already changed.

The Board of Peace: A Rival to the UN?

One of the more consequential announcements at Davos was the launch of the Board of Peace. This body was presented as a new international mechanism designed to act where existing institutions – particularly the United Nations – are seen as slow, gridlocked, ineffective, and bureaucratic.

Its initial focus appears to be conflict zones where major powers want outcomes rather than prolonged negotiation. The proposal centres on a smaller organisation with the ability to offer security arrangements and political stabilisation without the procedural delays that define the UN Security Council.

A streamlined body such as the Board of Peace could move faster and impose clearer conditions, whereas the UN often produces statements, resolutions, and processes that rarely translate into action. But the risks here are clear: a structure built outside traditional treaty frameworks concentrates decision-making among those who fund and control it. Peace, reconstruction, and sovereignty risk becoming conditional on alignment with the few in control.

Again, the reception of this idea was mostly pragmatic, and the concept was treated as a realistic workaround to multilateral stagnation. That response signals how much confidence in existing global institutions has waned.

Somaliland Quietly Enters the Market for Recognition

Another telling development took place away from the main stages. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi, President of Somaliland, met Eric Trump in a nearby hotel conference room while Donald Trump spoke. An aide said it was one of Eric’s main meetings. The Somaliland leader also met with Israeli President Isaac Herzog.

Somaliland – a de-facto state with long-standing autonomy since 1991 – lacks formal recognition from any major country. In an October article, “Will Somaliland Help Israel in Return for Independence?”, we investigated the potential of the US and Israel awarding recognition to the East African breakaway state. At Davos, the reality edged closer.

Somaliland controls a key port on the Gulf of Aden, near one of the world’s most important shipping lanes. Its geography alone gives it leverage. Davos, in this case, served as a marketplace for sovereignty – a space where such leverage can be monetised through access and relationships, even without formal legal status. But if such recognition can be advanced through quiet meetings, then is sovereignty becoming purely transactional?

See our earlier article for further reading on the topic of sovereignty: “Why Does Nobody Know How Many Countries There Are?”

Zelenskyy Lectures Europe on Vulnerability

Volodomyr Zelenskyy’s speech in Davos was openly critical of Europe. He did not appeal to unity or shared values. He lectured European leaders on vulnerability.

By pointing to symbolic troop deployments, fragmented defence commitments, and hesitation over security spending, Zelenskyy highlighted what many already understand. Europe totally lacks strategic coherence and relies heavily on American protection – all while resisting the implications of that dependence.

His message appeared transactional rather than emotional. A continent that cannot act decisively becomes a liability rather than a partner, and in a world defined by leverage, that weakness invites pressure.

The implication is that Europe’s inability to project power independently reduces its influence in broader global negotiations that hinge on security, resources, and enforcement – just like we’re seeing with Greenland.

The Climate Becomes a Mechanism for Market Control

Climate language dominated Davos, but the real focus was on enforcement via markets, not emissions or environmental outcomes.

Carbon border taxes, compliance frameworks, reporting standards, and disclosure requirements are all tools that translate “climate” policy into economic leverage. These mechanisms determine which goods can enter markets, who can buy them, which companies are penalised, and which countries must align or pay.

This is a crucial point. Climate policy increasingly functions as an instrument for regulating trade and industrial behaviour rather than protecting the environment. Davos discussions reflected this reality. The “climate” crisis was treated as a means of shaping supply chains and controlling access rather than a scientific debate.

This explains why climate rules are now inseparable from financial regulation and trade policy. They provide a moral justification for enforcement that would otherwise be politically difficult to impose.

AI and the Struggle for Control

AI discussions followed a similar pattern. The emphasis wasn’t innovation or technological development, but governance and control. Who manages the models, who owns the data, and who decides what systems are allowed to do?

Safety and sovereignty were the preferred terms. In practice, the conversation was about permissions and control. AI governance is becoming a way to regulate transactions, behaviour, and speech at scale.

Davos treated this as inevitable. Once rules are embedded, they will become difficult to challenge. The debate was not about whether the control should exist, but rather who should wield the power.

Conflict, not Cooperation, is on the Horizon

One of the most revealing short-term signals came from risk framing. The dominant concern for the next two years is not climate, pandemics, or inequality. Instead, it’s geopolitical conflict.

Trade wars, sanctions, bloc competition, and regional wars now define the short-term outlook. Davos is planning for a world of managed confrontation rather than global harmony. That reality seemed to shape every discussion, even when not mentioned explicitly.

Final Thought

Davos 2026 made one thing clear: the global system is being reorganised around leverage. Territory is being discussed as an asset. Sovereignty is negotiated through port access. Climate policy is being used to enforce market control. AI governance opens the door to behavioural control. And they’re not even hiding it anymore.

Activists fret about armies relying on killer robots, but some forms of artificial intelligence that don’t actually pull the trigger could still be a nightmare

This past fall, diplomats from around the globe gathered in Geneva to do something about killer robots. In a result that surprised nobody, they failed.

The formal debate over lethal autonomous weapons systems—machines that can select and fire at targets on their own—began in earnest about half a decade ago under the Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons, the international community’s principal mechanism for banning systems and devices deemed too hellish for use in war. But despite yearly meetings, the CCW has yet to agree what “lethal autonomous weapons” even are, let alone set a blueprint for how to rein them in.

Meanwhile, the technology is advancing ferociously; militaries aren’t going to wait for delegates to pin down the exact meaning of slippery terms such as “meaningful human control” before sending advanced warbots to battle.

To be sure, that’s a nightmarish prospect. U.N. Secretary-General António Guterres, echoing a growing chorus of governments, think tanks, academics, and technologists, has called such weapons “politically unacceptable” and “morally repugnant.” But this all overlooks an equally urgent menace: autonomous systems that are not in themselves lethal but rather act as a key accessory to human violence.

Such tools—let’s call them lethality-enabling autonomous systems—might not sound as frightening as a swarm of intelligent hunter drones. But they could be terrifying. At best, they will make conflict far more unpredictable and less accountable. At worst, they could facilitate ghoulish atrocities.

Many such technologies are already in use. Many more are right around the corner. And because of our singular focus on headline-grabbing killer robots, they have largely gone ignored.

Militaries and spy services have long been developing and deploying software for autonomously finding “unknown unknowns”—potential targets who would have otherwise slipped by unnoticed in the torrent of data from their growing surveillance arsenals. One particularly spooky strand of research seeks to build algorithms that tip human analysts off to such targets by singling out cars driving suspiciously around a surveilled city.

Other lethality-enabling technologies can translate intercepted communications, synthesize intelligence reports, and predict an adversary’s next move—all of which are similarly crucial steps in the lead-up to a strike. Even many entry-level surveillance devices on the market today, such as targeting cameras, come with standard features for automated tracking and detection.

For its part, the U.S. Department of Defense, whose self-imposed rules for autonomous weapons specifically exempt nonlethal systems, is allowing algorithms dangerously close to the trigger. The Army wants to equip tanks with computer vision that identifies “objects of interest” (translation: potential targets) along with recommendation algorithms—kind of like Amazon’s—that advise weapons operators whether to destroy those objects with a cannon or a gun, or by calling in an airstrike. All of these technologies fall outside the scope of the international debate on killer robots. But their effects could be just as dangerous.

The widespread use of sophisticated autonomous aids in war would be fraught with unknown unknowns. An algorithm with the power to suggest whether a tank should use a small rocket or a fighter jet to take out an enemy could mark the difference between life and death for anybody who happens to be in the vicinity of the target. But different systems could perform that same calculation with widely diverging results. Even the reliability of a single given algorithm could vary wildly depending on the quality of the data it ingests.

It is also difficult to know whether lethality-enabling artificial intelligence—prone as computers are to bias—would contravene or reinforce those human passions that all too often lead to erroneous or illegal killings. Nor is there any consensus as to how to ensure that a human finger on the trigger can be counted on as a reliable check against the fallibility of its algorithmic enablers.

As such, in the absence of standards on such matters, not to mention protocols for algorithmic accountability, there is no good way to assess whether a bad algorithmically enabled killing came down to poor data, human error, or a deliberate act of aggression against a protected group.

A well-intentioned military actor could be led astray by a deviant algorithm and not know it; but just as easily, an actor with darker motives might use algorithms as a convenient veil for an intentionally insidious decisions.

If one system offers up a faulty conclusion, it could be easy to catch the mistake before it does any harm. But these algorithms won’t act alone. A few months ago, the U.S. Navy tested a network of three AI systems, mounted on a satellite and two different airplanes, that collaboratively found an enemy ship and decided which vessel in the Navy’s fleet was best placed to destroy it, as well as what missile it should use. The one human involved in this kill chain was a commanding officer on the chosen destroyer, whose only job was to give the order to fire.

Eventually, the lead-up to a strike may involve dozens or hundreds of separate algorithms, each with a different job, passing findings not just to human overseers but also from machine to machine. Mistakes could accrue; human judgment and machine estimations would be impossible to parse from one another; and the results could be wildly unpredictable.

These questions are even more troubling when you consider how central such technologies will become to all future military operations. As the technology proliferates, even morally upstanding militaries may have to rely on autonomous assistance, in spite of its many risks, just to keep ahead of their less scrupulous AI-enabled adversaries.

And once an AI system can navigate complicated circumstances more intelligently than any team of soldiers, the human will have no choice but to take its advice on trust—or, as one thoughtful participant at a recent U.S. Army symposium put it, targeting will become a matter of simply pressing the “I-believe button.” In such a context, assurances from top brass that their machines will never make the ultimate lethal decision seem a little beside the point.

Most distressing of all, automation’s vast potential to make humans more efficient extends to the very human act of committing war crimes. In the wrong hands, a multi-source analytics system could, say, identify every member of a vulnerable ethnic group.

At the Fix the World Organization we’ve had many conversations with both inventors of free energy devices and the investors that wish to promote them. Through our own personal experiences we’ve noticed a pattern of perceptions, behavior and circumstances that are perhaps the key reasons why the people on this planet do not have the energy that they need for a higher quality of life. Many people are not aware of what occurs in these negotiations behind closed doors. It’s time to bring this to light.

In REALITY there are three reasons why we don’t have free energy

1)The governments and corporations suppress it, as a result, the general public believes that such devices are not real or cannot possibly exist because we are not yet “advanced enough” to have invented them.

2)Brilliant Inventors of such devices have robbed, threatened, ostracized, or ‘screwed’ by ill-intentioned investors or the governments . Currently, most inventors are in a state of dire financial poverty (by design!) which leaves them powerless to impact any real change.

3)Well intentioned Investors have been robbed or have had other bad experiences with ill-intentioned so called “inventors” and scam artists.

As a result of #2 and #3, Inventors don’t trust investors, and investors don’t trust inventors. This is all due to a simple lack of relationship building, trust, and good communication. This is where FTW comes in with the solutions.

Here are some stories that support the above scenarios.

First of all, YES FREE ENERGY IS REAL. And has been around for hundreds of years. For more examples of this click HERE, HERE, HERE, and HERE.

The governments and corporations have in fact suppressed this free energy technology in the past. For more examples of this click HERE, HERE, HERE , and HERE.

As mentioned, we’ve had many conversations with both inventors and investors. Here we would like to present to you some of the highlights from those conversations. We feel that it is important for everyone on both sides to understand what happens in reality when it comes to bringing a free energy technology to the world. FTW recognizes these important issues and has come up with a solution that is a win-win for all.

Stories from the Inventors Perspective:

“ So far, everyone who has contacted us claiming to have lots of money to invest does not actually have the resources represented or are too greed focused to turn loose of any. Our experience has demonstrated talks with these potential capital sources progress little and take significant time and effort to manage.”

“The investor contacted us claiming that they had billions of dollars and they had all the factories ready to mass produce. They then wanted us to give them all of our working prototypes for free with no money up front, claiming they would send us a check later. All we wanted was a reasonable down payment so we could facilitate the request and feed our families for the next couple of weeks.”
“He announced that he was going to start offering his free energy devices at low cost. Soon after that he was attacked in his lab and warned not to produce the devices. For his own safety he had to let go of marketing free energy”
“He used Tesla’s theories to counter gravity, to make objects float, this could revolutionize the field of propulsion, his lab was raided and equipment was taken by police and government officials in 1978, 1979 and again in 2000”

Stories from the Investors Perspective:

“An inventor seeks out an investor, on paper all looks wonderful. $500.000 later, the inventor needs more money because they did not know enough about the “reality” of the costs of the parts needed and/or got the calculations wrong, and in a larger model it does not work.”
“An Investor believes that free energy is the way to go. They then find a company claiming to have successfully created a generator/machine that works. The investor sends the money and the company cannot be found and the money is gone!!”
“ An Investor finds a company that is the real deal. The company though, is demanding money upfront and a huge sum at that. The investor then needs to borrow to get device made, who will lend them the money?? The bank? I do not think so…”
“An investor believes in a device, the inventors company can deliver, but the investor cannot get support from their partners who are skeptical due to the history of free energy”

The Fix the World Organization Solution

FTW realizes that these are the realities that have prevented us from moving forward with the promise of free energy that so many need for a higher quality of life. We’ve decided to address these problems head on and have developed a series of solutions that will make all the difference and bring these technologies to the world. We offer an array of services to help investors organize their projects. This resolves a lot of problems before they occur and allows for the best presentation and smooth transactions with an investor. We also provide a screening process for both investors and inventors to ensure the highest credibility for all involved. In addition, we have a team of unique skilled professionals that can create tested, proven, secure and unique contracts and ethical business transactions unlike any other on the planet. This establishes trust, builds healthy relationships and ensures a “win-win” for all parties involved, and keeps the project safe from any outside disruptions.
Hopefully we’ve helped to clear up any misconceptions about the negotiations that occur with free energy technology projects and why so many of them are not successful. FTW will continue in our mission to bridge the gap to bringing free energy to the World.
