NIH has completely merged with the Gates Foundation

In June, a whistle-blower revealed that the US National Institutes of Health (“NIH”), the world’s largest funder of biomedical research, has completely merged with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (renamed ‘The Gates Foundation’).

This isn’t a recent development; it became apparent to the NIH whistle-blower more than 10 years ago.

Gates was able to take control of the NIH by funding the agency’s own non-profit, the Foundation for the National Institutes of Health.

How Bill Gates’ Billions Shape US Medical Research

On the eve of Gates’ private testimony with Congress scheduled for [9 June 2026], a trove of federal whistle-blower documents provided to RealClearInvestigations (“RCI”) is renewing questions about how Gates’ money has bought what critics complain is an untoward influence on government health policy. For almost a quarter of a century, his main vehicle of power, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, has donated hundreds of millions of dollars to the National Institutes of Health (“NIH”), allowing Gates to shape the direction of the country’s health strategy in ways that have benefitted his own priorities and pet causes while polishing his image as a benevolent global do-gooder.

At a time of growing concern about the power of billionaires such as Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos and Sam Altman, Gates’ efforts stand out. Instead of lobbying federal agencies for specific policies, Gates leveraged his wealth to work inside the government, partnering with high-ranking NIH officials to steer taxpayer research funding and design scientific policies for several federal programmes.

The cache of several dozen emails and documents, made public for the first time by an NIH whistle-blower, reinforces previous reports detailing Gates’s extensive influence over US biomedical research. During the height of the covid pandemic, Kate Elder, a senior vaccines policy adviser for Doctors Without Borders, complained to Politico, “What makes Bill Gates qualified to be giving advice and advising the US government on where they should be putting the tremendous resources?”

Emails and internal plans, for example, show that the NIH – the world’s largest funder of biomedical research – gave the Gates Foundation first billing for the joint workshops and meetings held on federal property.

The Gates Foundation did not respond to repeated requests for comment. The NIH also declined to comment.

Leveraging Investments

Like most philanthropies, the Gates Foundation tries to grow its endowment through investments. Some of these efforts, especially its stake in vaccine companies, blur the lines between profit-seeking and the foundation’s mission to develop and deliver vaccines around the world. This symbiotic relationship between capitalism and charity also benefits Gates, whose power and position hinge in large part on the size of his foundation’s assets. Before the pandemic, The Nation magazine reported that the Gates Foundation had a $40 million stake in CureVac – this was not a grant but an investment. CureVac was one of many companies the non-profit bought stock in that were working on covid vaccines and therapeutics.

Around that same period, the Gates Foundation announced that it had begun to “leverage a portion of its $2.5 billion Strategic Investment Fund” to advance the non-profit’s covid work. The Gates Foundation also turned a $55 million investment in Pfizer’s covid vaccine partner, BioNTech, into over $550 million when it sold stock a couple of years later after the vaccine hit the market.

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation was established in 2000 with an initial endowment of $20 billion and a primary focus on reducing global health disparities. Rather than working exclusively through non-governmental agencies, the Gates Foundation began contributing to the NIH through the agency’s own non-profit, the Foundation for the National Institutes of Health (“FNIH”). Congress created the FNIH in 1990 as a firewall between NIH officials and outside donors seeking to influence federal research.

That firewall is not ironclad. In 2018, for example, NIH officials, funded by beer and liquor companies through an FNIH grant, were in frequent contact with the alcohol industry while designing a study that seemed predetermined to find alcohol’s benefits but not potential harms, such as cancer. The NIH also declined money in 2018 from drugmakers to support a proposed $400 million research programme to discover opioid alternatives and addiction treatments. Like the alcohol funds, that drugmaker money would have also been routed through the FNIH.

Major Grants to Government

In 2003, the Gates Foundation donated $200 million to the FNIH to fund NIH scientific programmes, an unprecedented sum. Rice University researchers warned in 2008 that this Gates cash was shifting the NIH’s scientific priorities, even though the money was cycled through the FNIH. While FNIH manages and administers Gates money, they said, the Gates Foundation’s scientific board ultimately “oversees and selects the projects to be funded” at the NIH.

After Gates gave an NIH lecture in 2013, NIH documents show that the agency began hosting Gates-NIH Workshops, eventually synchronising federal research programmes with Gates, to include coordinating grant funding and science policies across 10 NIH programmes.

“Bill Gates, along with the NIH, the Wellcome Trust, it was this cartel,” the whistle-blower, a former NIH official who requested anonymity, told RCI. “This is a globalist movement. And that’s something that I don’t think the public knows.”

The Gates Foundation held its second annual meeting with the NIH in July 2105, with both sides proposing new areas of teamwork, and later agreeing to cooperate on funding and research policies for global health. One area of overlap was the West African Ebola outbreaks. To align the Gates Foundation’s Ebola research with the federal agency, Gates routed money through the FNIH so that NIH employees could hire the McKinsey consulting firm.

According to the NIH’s summary of the 2015 workshop, McKinsey’s study of the Ebola field found 20 therapeutics, eight diagnostics and eight different vaccines, concluding that the Merck and GSK vaccines were the most advanced.

At no point in the several dozen emails and documents provided to RCI did NIH officials appear to raise any concerns about conflicts of interest regarding their work with Gates, nor the hiring of McKinsey to shape federal research and development policies. McKinsey is a global consulting firm whose clients include dozens of foreign governments and some of the world’s largest corporations.

House Democrats released an April 2022 investigation that documented McKinsey’s conflicts of interest during the opioid epidemic that killed tens of thousands of Americans, finding that McKinsey provided consulting advice to both Purdue Pharma and the Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) from 2008 to 2019. In one example, the report surfaced emails with McKinsey employees congratulating themselves for influencing a 2018 speech on opioid safety by then-FDA Commissioner Dr. Scott Gottlieb.

When Congress brought McKinsey managing partner Bob Sternfels before cameras during a 2022 public hearing, he alleged that his firm did not have a conflict of interest when it gave simultaneous advice to both OxyContin’s manufacturer and the government agency that regulated OxyContin. Two years later, McKinsey paid a $650 million fine to resolve a criminal and civil investigation into the firm’s consulting work with Purdue Pharma.

“The NIH and BMGF [Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation] have had a long history of interaction, particularly with respect to vaccines and drugs,” reads the NIH summary of the 2015 Gates-NIH meeting.

A longtime NIH official said that the agency’s leadership initially held Gates at arm’s length, but eventually gave in. “They were very suspicious at first,” said the official, who requested anonymity. “But they got caught up in, ‘Wow, he’s the richest man in the world!’”

The NIH official added, “What I saw, which really, I think, extends until this day, is a complete merging of NIH and Gates. And I’ve never seen that written anywhere. I don’t think people realise this incredible symbiotic relationship.”

Bill Gates Is Coming!

Bill Gates added a bit of splendour to the Gates-NIH workshop series when he made his first personal appearance at the April 2016 meeting. As part of the meticulous planning for the event, NIH Director Francis Collins held a 45-minute teleconference 10 days prior, to hash out the meeting’s details with Trevor Mundel, a former pharmaceutical executive in charge of global health at the Gates Foundation.

According to a list of key “milestones and accomplishments” sent at the time to Collins, the Gates Foundation was by then firmly entwined within the NIH ecosystem to include dual workshops, joint clinical trials, combined research policies and collaborative funding efforts. For example, NIH staff and Gates employees worked together on clinical trials for TB treatment in Africa. Both Gates and NIH employees also began a joint study for TB with support from the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology.

The night before the meeting, the NIH held a reception and a catered dinner, paid by the FNIH, for almost two dozen Gates executives at the Cloisters Mansion, a historic, stone castle in rural Maryland, where actor Will Smith married actress Jada Pinkett.

Emails show that the NIH continued scrambling that night to lock down the arrival of other attendees, which included Obama officials at the Department of Health and Human Services and the Commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration, Robert Califf.

To provide Bill Gates a luxury experience, NIH staff prepared Collins – a Nobel Prize-winning scientist – a minute-by-minute itinerary for the arrival of Gates and his retinue the following morning. NIH police were ordered to greet Bill at the facility’s entrance and then escort the billionaire’s three-vehicle convoy the final half mile to one of the main research centres, where the Director lingered in waiting. Such deference to power, said a senior Trump official when reading the Collins itinerary over the phone, is normally reserved for the president, first lady or visiting dignitaries of state.

“Dr. Collins will meet Bill Gates after he exits the car and steps inside of the building,” the itinerary read. After posing for a photo, Collins was bidden to escort the billionaire into the main auditorium and welcome the audience for Gates.

The agenda shows Collins and Gates Foundation’s Trevor Mundel gave a joint introduction before stepping aside for Bill Gates’s opening speech. Moderated by Dr. Anthony Fauci, the man who would later lead the US medical response to covid, the first panel included a mix of NIH and Gates executives discussing microbial outbreaks and public-private partnerships to develop pandemic-preventive vaccines.

Collins then moderated a panel on ‘Research on Engineered Gene Drives and Vector-Borne Disease Control: Status and Next Direction’. Gene drive technology involves inserting specific genetic traits to spread rapidly throughout a population. Gates has long been a fan of gene drives to control mosquitoes, but the technology is highly controversial as it could also drive species to extinction and irrevocably alter ecosystems. The NIH’s scientific programme to control mosquitoes with genetic technology was apparently started with seed money from Gates in 2003.

Beginning in 2012, a Bill Gates-funded non-profit called ‘Target Malaria’ began a gene drive technology study to eradicate malaria-transmitting mosquitoes in Burkina Faso. Last August, Burkina Faso’s government suspended Target Malaria’s project over safety concerns and worries about the excessive influence of Bill Gates on the country’s sovereignty.

Gates only stayed the morning of the 2016 meeting and left before lunch. “Bill Gates is escorted, by Dr. Collins, out of the building through the same hallway he entered,” reads Collins’ itinerary. “NIH Police escort Mr. Gates and staff to the exit gate.”

The meeting ended with a wrap-up and review of next steps, led by Collins and a Gates executive.

Later that year, the FNIH honoured the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Pfizer with an award for supporting the NIH’s mission. Gates was recognised for $413 million dollars in donations and Pfizer for $73 million. In a press release announcing the honour, the NIH said, “Their gifts created cornerstone programmes and paved the way for our partnerships with literally hundreds of other organisations dedicated to driving biomedical research worldwide.”

The FNIH continues to maintain close ties to pharmaceutical interests, a major NIH funder. The current CEO, Julie Gerberding, came to the FNIH during the covid pandemic, having previously served as President of Merck Vaccines.

Read that again. The prime minister of Israel is saying the people responsible for protecting the country knowingly withheld information — not out of failure, but by choice.

Why are 20% of male cattle in America producing milk?

Male counterparts to heifers and cows, as a rule of thumb, aren’t evolutionarily designed to produce milk from their teats. Neither are human males.

Yet, as Benjamin Bartee describes below, through the use of chemicals and hormones, both male cattle and human men are defying God’s natural order. The cattle have been given no choice. Men, however, are wilfully rebelling.

For years, smug corporate media twinks, the ones who read teleprompter propaganda for their paymasters in full makeup for a living and can’t rightly condescend to anyone, scoffed condescendingly as – from a place of simultaneous total ignorance of actual biology yet full confidence in the talking points they’d been fed, a combination of attributes unique to such sock-puppets of the ruling class – they ridiculed Alex Jones for claiming that agricultural runoff leaching into the tap water was “turning the freaking frogs gay.”

In reality, unnoted by any of said condescending corporate media twinks because their corporate advertisers would never permit real journalism to break out on the networks that they pay good money to control, what Jones was specifically referencing is the well-documented gender-bending properties of the pesticide atrazine, which is ubiquitous in the American water supply and a known endocrine disruptor.

(For ironically scientifically illiterate respecters of “The Science” like John Oliver, Rachel Maddow, Stephen Colbert, et al., “endocrine disruptor” means “thing that fucks hormones up.”)

Atrazine is the most commonly detected pesticide contaminant of ground, surface and drinking water. Atrazine is also a potent endocrine disruptor that is active at low, ecologically relevant concentrations. Previous studies showed that atrazine adversely affects amphibian larval development. The present study demonstrates the reproductive consequences of atrazine exposure in adult amphibians. Atrazine-exposed males were both demasculinised (chemically castrated) and completely feminised as adults. Ten per cent of the exposed genetic males developed into functional females that copulated with unexposed males and produced viable eggs. Atrazine-exposed males suffered from depressed testosterone, decreased breeding gland size, demasculinised / feminised laryngeal development, suppressed mating behaviour, reduced spermatogenesis, and decreased fertility.

So, it seems that “gay frog” might not have gone far enough; what atrazine produces are tranny frogs – “functional females” that have been “completely feminised.”

In a similar vein to the gay frog drama, it seems they might have turned the steers gay, as it were.

Not being a rancher myself, and not being especially gifted in the hard sciences, I’ll go out on a limb and posit that steers, the male counterparts to heifers and cows, as a rule of thumb, aren’t evolutionarily designed to produce milk from their teats.

Yet still, in this, our Brave New World where “The Science” reigns supreme, from those male steer teats milk poureth in bountiful measure.

I was standing beside a row of rocking chairs in North Dakota, looking out over the Badlands at a beautiful sunset, when a man who had heard me speak earlier at the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library started talking to me about cattle.

Then, he asked me whether I knew that male cattle were lactating at the time of slaughter.

No. I did not.

He said the number was somewhere around 20 per cent.

I love a good conspiracy theory, but I also raise cattle, and this sounded completely absurd. A steer is a castrated male bovine. A steer does not get pregnant. A steer does not have a calf. A steer does not produce milk …

I’ve raised cattle for years, and if someone had told me that afternoon that researchers were finding milk coming from roughly one out of every six finished steers, I would have thought they were repeating something they saw on the internet that wasn’t true.

Unfortunately, the 20% lactating steer rate cited by the “conspiracy theorist” on the rocking chair in North Dakota checks out.

In a study referenced in the article above titled ‘Outcomes of Unintended Consequences: Frequency of Lactation and Intact Males and Their Impact in Finished Cattle’, researchers examined 20,481 specimens, male and female, including castrated males (steers) and non-castrated males (“intact”).

They found that nearly one in five dairy-cross steers – in other words, 20% – were lactating and even discovered four intact specimens (bulls) that were lactating.

Cattle (n = 20,481) were audited during harvest, originating from 33 feedlots. All cattle were assessed for lactation. All steers were manually palpated to detect testicles. Carcass outcomes for audited lots were obtained to compare cattle identified as lactating or intact males to the remaining balance of their lots. Frequency data were analysed via chi-square methods. Mixed models were used to determine the effect of lactation or intact testicles among cattle-type populations regarding carcass performance. Milk samples (n = 120) were taken from dairy-cross heifers (n = 30), native heifers (n = 30), dairy-cross steers (n = 30) and native steers (n = 30) and analysed for milk composition.

29.68% of cattle (n = 6,078) were identified as lactating. Dairy-cross heifers were lactating at the greatest (P < 0.01) frequency (55.81%), followed by native heifers (28.77%), dairy-cross-steers (19.66%) and native steers (14.55%).

The obvious follow-up question becomes: How did it come to pass that male cattle with XY chromosomes, even ones that retain their gigantic testicles, are secreting milk, or a milk-like substance, from their teats?

The most plausible culprit for the trannification of American cattle is the cocktail of hormones that ranchers administer to their herds. (90% of American feedlot cattle receive growth hormone implants.)

(Even ranchers who don’t necessarily want to ply their cattle with artificial growth hormones have their hand forced by economic necessity, as not maximising their growth rate would make them unable to compete with agri-giants and inevitably put them out of business – one might argue, by design. The hormone supplementation is essential to the business design.)

Germany has issued orders to all 18-year-old men in Germany to report for mandatory physical examinations in preparation for an imminent full-scale war requiring mass mobilization of civilians into military ranks.

The German government tells its people there’s no conscription — while setting up 24 examination centers across the country and mailing mandatory military registration questionnaires to every man born after 2008.

Defense Minister Pistorius talks about “volunteer principles” while quietly placing the entire nation’s medical, transportation, industrial, and even educational systems on a war footing.

This is not defense. This is preparation for war. And it’s a large-scale, nationwide war preparation aimed at Russia.

As early as spring 2024, the German government drafted a 1,400-page classified document codenamed “OPLAN DEU” (Operation Plan Germany).

How detailed is this document? It specifies how 800,000 NATO soldiers and 200,000 vehicleswould transit through German territory to the eastern front. It identifies which roads, railways, hospitals, and supply depots must be on standby at all times. It even details which gas stations get priority for refueling military vehicles.

Germany’s role in this war is not “participant” — it’s NATO’s “transit hub” — a massive logistics node responsible for funneling the entire Western military machine to Russia’s border.

Lieutenant General Alexander Sollfrank, commander of the Bundeswehr’s Joint Operations Command, openly admitted that Germany is prepared to complete this deployment “within six months.”

When was the last time you heard about this? Probably never. Because Berlin doesn’t want you to know.

Who Are They Defending Against? The Very People Who Oppose War

After this secret plan was exposed, the most ironic development emerged.

German Defense Minister Pistorius ordered the recall of the OPLAN document from eastern state governments, citing fears it could fall into the hands of “pro-Russian forces.”

Who are these “pro-Russian forces”? The Alternative for Germany (AfD) — an opposition party currently leading polls in multiple eastern states. The AfD’s platform is clear: lift sanctions on Russia, restore Nord Stream, normalize relations with Moscow.

In other words, a party with broad public support in eastern Germany is being treated as “people who cannot see military secrets” simply because it advocates for peace and opposes sanctions. Pistorius even publicly warned that the AfD is “close to Putin” and might leak classified information to Russia.

What is the German government afraid of? Not Russian tanks. It’s afraid of the German people themselves — afraid that once they know the truth, they’ll refuse to become fuel for this war.

Every Signal Points to the Same Conclusion

String together everything that’s happened in recent months, and the picture becomes crystal clear:

January 2026: The new military service law takes effect. All men born after 2008 must complete military preference questionnaires — failure to comply results in fines. Starting 2027, medical examinations become mandatory.

July 2026: Rheinmetall begins construction of Europe’s most modern gunpowder factory in Bavaria, with capacity surging from 1,700 tons annually to 4,200 tons — targeting 20,000 tons by 2030. That same year, Rheinmetall converts two civilian auto parts factories directly into weapons plants.

September 2026: 45,000 students walk out across more than 100 cities simultaneously, protesting conscription. Their banners read: “Russia is not our enemy” and “We won’t fight your wars.”

Former German Chancellor Merkel’s military advisor, retired General Erich Vad, said plainly on television: “If this continues, we will be dragged into war with Russia.”

This is not a prophecy. This is reality unfolding before our eyes.

Who Benefits?

The armaments industry. The defense contractors. The same international interests that profit from every escalation. The war machine doesn’t care about borders or sovereignty. It cares about contracts.

Rheinmetall’s stock has skyrocketed. Its CEO is publicly celebrating record profits. Meanwhile, every third euro of Germany’s federal budget now flows to the military, while schools and universities are being “systematically starved,” as one student protester put it.

The beneficiaries are not the German people. Not the young men being summoned for medical exams. Not the students marching in the streets.

The beneficiaries are the shareholders, the executives, and the politicians who rotate between government and corporate boards.

The Youth See Through It

The students in the streets understand what their parents’ generation seems determined to forget: that a medical exam for “voluntary” service is just conscription with a bureaucratic smile. That “defense” spending is really war preparation. That “European values” is a slogan used to justify sending other people’s children to die.

At a protest in Hamburg, students carried banners reading “Russia is not our enemy” and “We won’t fight your wars.”

One organizer from Stuttgart said it best: “The youth has nothing to gain in a war and everything to lose. While the big corporations fill their pockets with war, we pay the price: we sit in the trenches, we have to shoot at other people, we die if necessary.”
