Important QEG Correspondence – Classes start this week!

beginners-build-main Important QEG Correspondence - Classes start this week!FTW/QEG is offering a beginner’s build course starting Saturday, January 17th 2015 which will consist of 1 class for 2 hours each week for 10 weeks in a row (through March 21st).  You can register HERE after reading the syllabus (see below) and other important information about the class presented in this email. The Instructor of the class is James Robitaille.

We are indebted and immensely grateful to our supporters. As many of you know, the QEG has had its ups and downs, but our most meaningful statement goes out to our friends. These are THE PEOPLE around the world who have put their confidence in us, inspire us and keep us moving forward. We realize we are in a war – it’s a different kind of war than one with weapons of destruction – but the battle is there nonetheless. We know THE PEOPLE – those who have written to us, or went out of their way to come meet us at a build, or pray for us and wish us well, and those that have hung their hopes on the promise the QEG holds for our future, are those souls that confirm for us, WE WILL REACH OUR GOAL! From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you and wanted you to know we may not have had the courage to take the step of opensourcing the original plans had you not taken action. That action – YOUR PART – has made it possible for engineers and enthusiasts around the world to start building.

CICUs – Cottage Industry Community Unit

FTW does not intend to be the sole manufacturer of the QEG, rather it is our top priority to put the QEG in the hands of the people and teach others how to make QEGs for themselves in their own chosen independent operational set up. For those who have written wanting information about finding or starting a CICU please sign-up on the official QEG Forum site BE-DO.COM. There are many people/communities building and organizing, and this is where you can meet.

For the engineers

If you are already building and have found problems with the original user’s manual, be encouraged that we have read your concerns and are working tirelessly to update several components of assembly. We may have the next level of opensourced material very soon (I know we’ve said this before but we are still working on it and have it almost ready).

For new engineers/builders thinking about building a QEG, please note that when we open-sourced the first user’s manual we entered into co-development with the world (beginning with Taiwan, Canada, Morocco, England and the USA), and the QEG is still in its final phase of development (self-looping). Almost one year after opensourcing the original manual, we are still working on completing the prototype, and are still deeply in co-development with the world.

For those who may be undecided whether to join us and begin to build a QEG

Even though there are a few steps to completion, we know the machine has the potential to generate at least 40kW of usable RMS power. The naysayers have not done their homework, and do not understand the technical concepts the design is based on. The video below is REAL, and we know those who did not build will wish they did. To be in the best position, if you have not already begun, the time to start building is now!

Our Mailing List

Hundreds of you have written to us or commented on the QEG project in some positive way in the last 10 months. We have been overwhelmed with responses! Although you may have heard from Angela, our Adminstrative Angel prior, or we have connected in some way, we are only now able review ALL the emails. (Yes 10 months of them!)

With the help of our supporters we have recently implemented a professional mailing list. Please click HERE if you would like to receive QEG updates and any announcements.

This technology is open to the public forever; what matters now is what we do with it.

In Love and Gratitude,

James, Val & Hope

QEG 2015 – Then and Now (new video)

QEG:101 Reaching Resonance and Beyond! Course Syllabus

Instructor: James Robitaille

In this 10 week course you will be instructed on how to build the basic components of the QEG, get it to power a load from a source of electrical resonance (mechanically pumped parametric resonance), and investigate next/latest steps of co-development (results of the latest research and experiments will be discussed in first class and presented in classes 9 and 10).

Our online meetings will take place in a Zoom room. Details/instructions will be provided 2 days prior to 1st class, along with your registration/confirmation email. Zoom is not complicated but it requires you have some computer experience (getting online, email address, etc.). Classes begin on Saturday January 17, 2015 promptly at 6 PM EST (will go to 8 PM or a little longer if necessary), and continue every Saturday at the same time until last class on March 21st.

Register for the entire course by midnight January 15th for $200, or for individual classes (see curriculum below) at $35 each up to 2 days prior to that class. We have 90 spaces available which will be filled on a first come, first served basis.

NOTE: If you have been to a QEG build please contact us for special instructions at QEGconsultation@hotmail.com before registering.

IMPORTANT: You must have some knowledge and experience with machinery, tools and electrical/electronic test equipment prior to building a QEG. We assume if you are taking this class you have a basic understanding in these areas, or access to partners who have these skills.
